Nice Lore on that Corvette, have you seen the Huckleberry Corvette or the BSE Spacer Escort Corvette Aion. There's also the LDI Skiff for a less combat focused Grid. Or if You'd like to go bigger there's the Hermes Battlecruiser.
I guess their one-person black ops design assumes nobody assigned to damage control, they fight until death or abandonment. I prefer to include maintenance access to all areas.
hmm and i thought i liked to build compact O.o haha .Thats a nice little ship there props to creator and a nice review of it m8. One thing that was not covered is the armor... is it all heavy or light armor??? If its not that is ok i guess to account for the weight since it cant straf that good .... With the new update heavy armor to protect key spots will be very important from then on :) cheers.
Yeah, first ship I downloaded was one of these. I crash landed it like a noob, lol. Had front damage already so yup. Was funny as I entered orbit and set my controller down, went for a fresh air break and came back to a very large planet staring back at me, lol. Does help if you've time to swing it about and thrust to a stop/brake.. like a SE Rocket lol 😂
I actually really like that the rail guns and jump drive are somewhat exposed. Not just aesthetically, even though it does look awesome, but also looks like it would be a fun battle for fighters to try to disable them.

I am addicted to your series man. been wanting space engineers since it came out but I haven't been fortunate enough to get a gaming pc to play it. It has how ever come out on PS4 and i'm slowly getting the hang of the game. But just have to say, I love you videos and I cant help but laugh 80% of the time to the stuff that happens to you and how you react to things happening to you.
Wow. Thats the most beautiful and well thought out ship i have seen (after quite a few years and ~3k hours in playtime). I do agree on Lunars comment in the end though. The outside appears a bit chaotic. A bit to much greeble. I enjoyed the video and hope you continue doing these reviews. They help with waiting for the next update ^^.
Drill rig: you can build a super cheap drill arm with just a drill and a hinge. As you get more resources, you can add conveyors to extend the reach until you can afford a bigger drill rig. Solar panels: near the North and South poles, a solar panel can be placed vertically on a rotor, and track the sun as it skims the horizon. Hydrogen engine: a timer setup to switch the engine off and on (10 minute intervals work fine) can simplify base power management. Just leave batteries on "auto". Spotlights: placed high up and set to target friendlies is helpful for working on your Rover at night.
I'm just sitting here looking at my boring carrier i've been building for what feels like months with not even a third of detail this ship has. This ship looks amazing!
The control seat at 8:30 is the engineering bridge, the main bridge (at 10.30) has an internal access and an access from the top, near the solar panels. The ship is marvelous, and while greatly armed its armor is not the best, but that's why you have so many defenses. The two deployable craft are hydro only, however, so bear that in mind. Also I've been using this one as my "starter ship" in a new game, it's great and very complete.
I have a question and it’s about my survival world on ps5. So I see you place on computer but maybe you could help me out. I was building a solar panel tracking the sun thingy and I wanted to manually control the rotors to get it in a certain part. I then realized I couldn’t leave the controlling part. Trying restarting, backups, teleporting with experimental mode, everything. I’m just stuck on the controlling rotor and can only movie my view around. Lmk if u can help with that. It’s hard finding this certain issue especially on ps5. I do use one mod but so I’m wondering if my game is glitched bc of it.
I have been playing SE since it came out, but just got back into it after a long long break. I put ur series on cuz my husband just started playing aswell and thought he might learn something. Turns out though 😂😂😂 we both are learning. Jeez so much new stuff 😂😂 thanks dude for the vids 😁
