Mick Brown is a songwriter from Galway on the West coast of Ireland. He fell in love with Galway when he heard a beautiful girl sing the beautiful "Song for Ireland" in an empty downstairs Celler bar in the late 1980's. I took him 15 more years to find himself living in Galway and a further 10 to eventually find his song. I hope you enjoy my songs. Be well, Mick Brown
Thanks a million Denis, lot of work in that video, actually fell over a ditch into a dyke in the middle of filming, totally committed to the art🤣 Didn't know you had a RU-vid channel, good on ya, just subscribed there now
Thanks a million Brendan, I watched a documentary on the Wed before 100th anniversary of death of Terence McSwiney on the Wed, stayed up half the night writing this poem, the next four days spent finding music to go with the poem, recording it, making the video etc. I had the video up in time for his anniversary, this is one of the works that I'm most proud of Brendan, read up on Terrance McSwiney's life story if you get a chance he was amazing, very spiritual man, he was buried in a Fransiscan habit.
A beautiful song for worshiping Goddess Brigid and a video that is there in Her sacred place in Kildare. I would love to see it in person one day. Thankyou so very much for linking me here Mick Brown.
