I have played many times on Kinvara Fm Community Radio station on both the Rose O Connor and 'Seamus on the Wireless' Radio shows. Rose approached me and asked would I write a jingle for her show 'Come West along with Rose'. The 11 second jingle I originally wrote turned into the full song you hear here, when Rose told me she liked it, 'but to keep writing'. Some of the footage is taken from Crinniu na mbad festival in 2019, when I rambled around Kinvara after playing on Kinvara Fm which was being broadcast from Kinvara Quay. More footage is taken from the Flaggy Shore. I tried to capture some of the vibe, fun, generosity and spirit of Kinvara FM in the song so hope you like it. Kinvara itself is a beautiful town in County Galway on the Wild Atlantic Way. The town has a spirit of creativity and wonder where music and the arts are supported and valued by its Residents and visitors alike. The station not only forms part of this mosaic of creativity but nurtures and promotes it.
