I think that Vlad Guerrero Jr. wont be the same because it’s the curse. He’s the cover athlete on MLB The Show 24. And you know in NBA 2k some players became trash because they were the cover athlete in 2k. So that’s the reason why Vlad Guerrero Jr. won’t be the same as he was in 2021. Sadly😢
I'll happily take less money to play for a winning organization. You know kris playing for Colorado makes it even worse 😭 i hope he has at least one more good season
Just never the same after he took that fastball to the dome. Also he always was incredibly resistant to any coaching due to his father. I always found him an odd mix of both humble yet horrifyingly stubborn. He never adjusted the big loopy swing and the league realized he can be punched out easy with high fastballs. KB never readjusted, then he took the bag to play on a shit team like Colorado. I have sympathy for him, but not as much as I probably should if he handled his career differently. He and his father just always thought they knew better. Add in the beaning, and this is what you get I guess.
To say this is TRAgic is false advertising - really ??? A millionaire who plays baseball and has had injury issues? It happens - not tragic by any means Tragic is players who spend 12 years in minors in hopes of getting a crack at big show!!!! And make peanuts in the process This is not tragic!!!!
I appreciate the World Series as a lifelong Cubs fan, but I am not saddened at all by what Kris Bryant has become. He started sloughing off, as did all the other Cubs players, right after they won. It is called the SENSE OF ENTITELMENT! Bryant, utlimately, is a loser of a human being.
This guy is fragile and an underachiever. As a Cub fan who appreciates 2016, KB is one of the biggest reasons that team never won again. His decline and lack of availability set the Cubs back.
This is a decision every big free agent has to make. Choose to make more money or be competitive in a well rounded team. Nothing tragic about this and we shouldn't feel sorry for a guy who chose the money.
I grew up watching Kris Bryant on the Cubs. He was my childhood sports hero. Because of this, it has been heartbreaking to see his decline. However, no matter what happens, he will always be remembered for leading the Cubs to the World Series that many die-hard fans lived their whole lives without ever witnessing. He truly gave Cubbie nation an experience we will never forget, and we will always be in his debt.
Luke Voit could have been a great player. I'm not sure what happened. Some guys you have to invest trust in, or they won't reach their potential. Maybe it's that. If he played in a small market, his career may have turned out different.
Bryant should talk to Don Mattingly. Back injuries have to be managed. Mattingly found a way to do it for 6 years. Bryant has to cut down his swing and become a gap to gap hitter. He'll get HR's here and there but should be looking to hit doubles.
If you have ever had "planters fasciitis" then you will know just how debilitating it is. Its not just an "injury", its like have a severe toothache in your foot that doesnt go away. You cant get away from it. And it will put you in a very bad head space.
You could say the same thing about Javier Baez…What has happened to him. Who would’ve thought Kyle Schwarber would be the best existing former Cub from the 2016 team. Schwarber had power, but he couldn’t hit over .250.
This guy needs to be put on the shelf! I hope he reads this....he fucking sux! Batting below mendoza line thar last 2 plus years. Can't see a pitch period. Stinks
@@headstrong4203 I think he's right in saying that "tragic" is an exaggeration. Disappointing, yes, but not tragic. In the end, Kris Bryant will be just fine.
