When you accidentally fell asleep while on the Halo 3 title screen and wake up to the music in the middle of the night and just leave it going. I used to do that all the time. Now when I hear it, it makes me sad and makes me miss the good ole days. Oh how times were simpler then…

I turned on the 360 after years of playing only to find that the servers were down so I decided to play halo and when I tell you the nostalgia hit so fun hard man epic game for ever and always
For me it's during elementary, hoping on the original xbox with my dad and playing through the campaign together, and then It be time for me to go to bed and he would accidentally leave the console on and I would go to bed to the halo 2 menu music. It's sad but I'm happy those memories stayed in my head alowing me to smile when I think about them and in my opinion that's just as good as going back
You know what I always loved about this song from the main menu? the fact that its so sad and at first you have no idea why, but when you finish halo 3 you get booted to the main menu and this song plays and the realization comes while you get a view of the wrecks of earth after the war is over.
We are given daggers and machetes to use in the game anyways, but no, we can’t even use those because we don’t have assassinations or any other mechanics that give us the ability to use them! We should be able to use those daggers and machetes; and it’s kind of funny because when I’ve said this before, people have said “well BossTex, you are making a really poor and invalid argument,” which makes me laugh and all like “lol what???” because when they talk like that it sounds like they’re trying to gaslight like people who know they are the ones making the poor arguments and they’re just trying to dismantle mine and make my argument look like the poor one because they don’t want their arguments to be recognized as the poor ones at all (if that makes any sense at all). Why does it matter to them so much if Halo has assassinations or not when they can just turn them off?! It’s pointless for them to say that I come up with a poor and invalid argument when I say that we should have assassinations, especially if we’re gonna be allowed to have daggers and machetes to customize our Spartans with in Halo Infinite, because we are allowed to customize with daggers and machetes and halo infinite. But are we even allowed to use them in multiplayer??? NO WE ARE NOT!!!! Which doesn’t make the slightest bit of sense!! It doesn’t make the slightest bit of sense to give us daggers and machetes if we’re not even allowed to use them!! When I say this, people have said “you make such a poor and invalid argument” and then they just leave it at that without explaining their logic in a sensible manner: all they say is that “we don’t need daggers or machetes for use, only for looks because having them for use is stupid!” Which then makes me want to say “OK now you just sound like as if you’re trolling and you’re talking logically backwards on purpose, because use matters much more than looks, and anyone with a brain would understand that! But either you don’t have a brain, or you just have turned it off so that you can purposely sound trollishly stupid!” Honestly, I don’t know what is going on when they talk like that, but they’d have to be really stupid to argue with me and with other Halo players like that who want assassinations! Either they really are trolling, or they are a bunch of dumb kids who are making dumb kid arguments, or they are just really dumb or they are on something. I don’t know!
I remember me and my fire team were on of the first thrown on the front lines, the covenant pushing against us hard, unrelenting, we were on that battlefield for what seemed like days…one by one our numbers dwindled each passing hitting hard than the last fueling our fight more and more until it was just me and my brother making a stand as our forces were thinning against the covenant plasma technology….until it was just me, my brother no longer fighting by my side…I was all alone…still holding out his death was the last to make me give into the burning hate, remembering all them each and every single one that fought by my side that day…. Then my mom told me to get off the Xbox
