@@RND3YT Hell yeah, Echoes supremacy Haters gonna hate, can't stop crying about "ammo bad" or "dark world not fun" but real gamers can enjoy this game to its fullest
Never, in my entire life, have I wanted to be like someone more than the first time I've seen someone playing Metroid Dread. And I'm 23. I was like "That girl is terrifying and if I ever came across her I would probably fall on my knees and beg for mercy the moment I see her. I want that to be me."
Samus is literally at her best in metroid dread, and her worst in metroid other M. Legit I do not consider other M canon. Samus enters God tier, as far as power, in dread.
@@RND3YT after checking Dread up I've decided to see what the other games were all about and I agree. They could have told the same story and shown that Samus has an emotional side to her without screwing everything up.
@@RND3YT yeah SM is one of my favorite games both metroid and non but it’s kinda clunky and the gba games improved pretty much everything about the formula so I agree w your rating
@@RND3YT that's pretty much how it is if you don't share all the opinions and stereotypes of other Metroid fans people will say you're not a true Metroid fan and that is total BS
While I'll disagree with NES and Samus Returns being in the KYS category, I will agree they haven't ages well, mostly because of the controls. Honestly if they got overhauls with more fluid controls, updated sprite art, better enemy A.I. and a map system, the games would be pretty darn enjoyable as is. Although, I'm in the minority of fans who didn't have an issue with have no map. NES is easy to navigate without one. Samus Returns was definitely more difficult because the main air in each location looks the same and the music never changes regardless of the region, but it's not impossible. With that said though, I will agree with just about all other placements, especially with Fusion, Zero Mission and Super Metroid. Super is great, no doubt, but if Super is a 10/10 then both Fusion and Zero Mission 11/10. I would kick Dread down a level though. It's honestly the most beautiful looking Metroid game by far, and it handle amazingly Boss fights ate great too. But I feel like it was lacking in content that could and should have been a part of the game. There should have been multiple ends like in every other game. Why didn't they do it here? The final final boss fight doesn't feel like a fight at all and is kind of anticlimactic. And then the story just kinda ends, we don't here a word from Samus or even get a hint or get the mission accomplished freeze frame. And there should have been more unlockable content like in the past games. Maybe I was spoiled by Zero Mission but unlocking the original NES game and a sound test was awesome. There's no reason why there wasn't a sound test for Dread. Hell, Smash ultimate has one and there are easily hundreds of songs And there definitely should have been other game modes, granted this isn't a flaw of the game itself, but in today's modern age, giving players multiple ways to enjoy a game is a staple. Could you imagine playing the game with a Fusion mode like in AM2R or a Metroid mode, where you get the Metroid suit from the beginning but your health always drains quickly so you have to constantly replenish your health, like a hungry Metroid. That would be an awesome challenge. Like I said, I love Dread. Been a Metroid fan for decades, but in some ways it needed more for being a recent title.
I know you really want to be different and all but it is genuinely a crime you put Other M and FF in the same tier as Samus Returns, as someone who played it at like 10 fps on a shitty emulator, I think it was a phenomenal remake, of a dogshit game(Metroid II). I can understand disliking the repetitiveness and I agree it started pretty damn boring, but theres something about slowly just shitting on each metroid type over time thats super satisfying, if you havent finished it, alright, but at least put it in the same tier as prime pinball. Also, Super Metroid is an amazing game, I personally believe Fusion is the superior game, however putting Zero Mission above it is insane(I think Prime is better than Super only if you search up the artifact locations.)
Look man, me and my 3 Chromosomes genuinely rated this how we see fit. 👀 Just because the world tells me Super Metroid is the best game ever, doesn't mean I'll believe them. I've played super metroid on my phone, but even so I don't think it's the best. I've always enjoyed the prime games more! I'll throw every game away just to touch prime 4 It's all subjective anyways, so your opinion stinks and mine is made of golden phazon. (Jk)
