Tip for those using 2x1: use 85% of the image frame for the safe title area, so that when your 18:9 video is watched on a smartphone with up to 21:9, the viewer can zoom the video in and nothing of the title area safe from being lost. Text framed at 85% of the 2:1 aspect ratio fits perfectly when zoomed from 18:9 to 21:9 on smartphone screens. See more on my channel!
When I plug my RODE video pro+ mic into my canon 6dmkii I get absolutely no audio bars. Switching it to manual settings, the only way I get sound is to slide the slider all the way to the right... Even then, the audio is so loud and hissed out it's unsalvageable. After many trial and error efforts it's only white noise. Even copy-and-pasting all the settings on every video I've watched; I cannot get the audio to even get close to -12db. It's stuck at -40 and just picking up his. Even a clap sounds like someone snapping their fingers 3 rooms away. I've tried everything. What is your best suggestion? The cord I have has the RODE logo, came in the box, has the 2 black lines on the metal part of both sides of the jacks. Any help is greatly appreciated... I am about to throw this camera and mic into a wall.
I want to make videos like the one I attached below. I plan to do them all in my garage. I have a Nikon Z7ii that I attach to my computer. In my situation, do you think a Ninja Is necessary or just overkill? I appreciate your advice. ru-vid.comxC5vH82NwWk?si=xG05hQDrWY8WawHm
Hi Omar! Great content. Please share your settings on Mixpre 3 to get the best output from MKH416! Or can you please let us know what are the best advanced settings that we can make on Sound Devices MixPre 3 to get the best audio output quality from MKH416 for talking head? Thanks
I disliked this video, not because it's bad. but because it took me 4:30 minutes for nothing The people interested in such setup is professionals and I would accept a pro video, you taught here the basics... which kind of person who considers mkh 416 and mixpre 3 doesn't know the sync clap method? Come on man

Ass to grass and full range of motion. I love that you're working and it's great for anyone to do physical activity. Just constructive criticism is telling me to tell you to take your time and do things right then progress will speed up and you can add intensiveness once you master the basics/less intensive workouts. Keep going, never give up.

Hi, would you recommend this set up for shooting a feature film? The mic seems to be highly recommended as boom mic but looking for the best receiver and production sound mixer to go with it. Any recommendations on that will be greatly appreciated.
Looking to restart my health journey. Thanks for the video. It inspired me. I ran a half marathon in October and lost motivation right after. Time to get back on track
