Welcome to the OFFICIAL The Rookie RU-vid channel! Follow John Nolan, a forty-five-year-old man, who leaves the comfort of his small-town life to pursue his dream of becoming a police officer for the Los Angeles Police Department. Enjoy the show's best moments all in one place, as Nolan and his fellow Rookies learn to deal with not only their duties as police officers but also the ones in their personal lives. We're not at the academy anymore...
This whole sequence is mastery of writing and acting. It's absolutely clear that if Nolan hadn't run, the gangster would have taken the shot to Bradford and Chin. TO was rigid, too slow. Grey was in bullshit. Nolans speach is the mastery of dialogue writing.
Best thing Rookie did, was have her in the show, second best thing they did in season 1, make us love her, (she is great, actress did awesome), and then kill her off because it set a tone, yes this is a funny show, but it will have serious themes and people will die.
That girl only cared about herself have she forgot that he could lose his job and go behind bars if he helped her and has she forgot she is also a cheater 😒😒
I respect him for waiting until she was sober to end up the marriage. It would've been easier to leave her when she was at her lowest point. However, he was breaking up here with a version of "its no you, its me" by saying he is the reminder of her mistakes. He's putting words in her mouth, he is deciding things for her. Cut down to season 6 where he does the same thing with Lucy. Huge red flag
One day there will be days that humanoid droids can work as Law Enforcement with the great example of it can possibly run a lot faster than regular humans to catching suspects with high simplicity!
Lucy is such a badass on the street but when she’s with her friends her whole personality changes the first arrest was a good example and the one at the wedding dress shop she can go full out cop mode in a second which is probably what makes her such a good UC
