I believe i heard that Apple in their old pcs used 2 eMMC chips per pc,And i didn't know that eMMC usb readers existed,But i know for sure i have so much sd cards all in one box,And i don't have build-in sd card reader,So i use an old Internet usb stick.
You didn't replace the left joystick while you had her opened up? But then I thought about it, that was probably because the customer paid for a usb-c port replacement, and NOT a joystick replacement. 😆 I purchased an N64 digital kit from Pixel FX when they originally launched, and held onto it for almost two years before I FINALLY felt confident enough to go through installing the kit. I spent all that time, watching channels like yours, and others, just learning the technique of HOW to actually solder. I just bought my first soldering station this past December, and successfully installed it myself. I'll be honest, it didn't work at first, but after a few hours of scratching my head and troubleshooting it, I found the problem. (A few of the pins on the Quad Flat Pack were bridged) After resoldering it, and being EXTRA careful to avoid any more solder bridges. She works! I now look for ANYTHING electronics related I can, to open up and tinker with. I absolutely LOVE soldering now! 🤜🤛 Thank you for doing what you do Chase! You've taught me A LOT just from watching you! ☺️👍
What do you guys do when need little parts like chips or others, do you just get them and wait for delivery about 2 weeks? I always have wondered what do you do when you're in demand fast of a needing part as I wanna start out myself Also keep it out you guys!
Hi I have a og xbox one sometimes it shuts off during startup some times I can play for hours before it shuts off. Start up is slow in my opinion as is downloading games and nearly everything. I know it’s not overheating because I completely dissembled the console and applied new thermal paste to try to fix my issue it did not. Could this be a hard drive issue? Please any advice would be greatly appreciated
What did you expect? Anythung to save money. If you want perfection, get German. If you want utility, get Japanese. If you want something that (maybe) looks nice but was made with cheap parts, get American.
I see your PS4 unit on 9.00 so your usen the exfathax img exploit that’s installed in that esp so called mod chip lol 😂 Next time please be more explainable do to your PS4 unit and what exploit your running and let everyone know that while unit is jB there’s no psn access as well too
I was thinking clearance / isolation / creepage at first but maybe it’s mechanical vibration or shock? Notice the via stitching too, it’s all a bit puzzling.
You include clearance slots like this to increase isolation, typically electrical, although in this case I suspect that the board was coupled to the car with too much rigidity and these slots were included for mechanical isolation(vibration or shock). I do admit it’s a bit puzzling though.
Look into some ultraviolet resin. I run across this issue a lot, especially on remotes. After repairing the traces you can put a good glob all over and keep it secure 👍 T7000 glue is pretty good too, but more of like a potting glue. Super secure, need heat to remove it down the line.
