(My opinion) i think enhypen is singing fully live frm what i see on tiktok and yt and no they dont just sing live 35 percent or smth i think they sing live(mostly). But sometimes they can lip-sync but they dont do that always maybe like 25 or 20 percent. Also they did covers of songs for iland and they didnt sing just to lip-sync!

Coming to this video late but it does have me thinking about the recent furore over bad encore stages and how seriously people take the vocals shown there. And that it's probably because we so rarely hear idols singing 100% live in shows. When even proven vocal powerhouses are made to perform with deafening backtrack more often than not, I guess we are just that starved for vocals that encores are all we can rely on in a way.

Thank you, I’m so done with people calling Tifa main character when she is only support and she is only used in other games when that game isn’t making enough money so we need to draw in Tifa fanboys. It’s so funny to listen to people talking about ending and saying maybe we will see Cloud, Sephiroth and Tifa, main characters in other franchises, and I’m like it’s Aerith not Tifa. Aerith is main character and she is used first, then when the game isn’t bad and they need more money in part 2 they always pull in Tifa so dumb Tifa fanboys buy that game.
I used to like to watch K-pop live performance, seeing their singing skill improving slowly and becoming more and more stable. But nowadays it’s all pre recorded, there’s no fun and excitement in watching live performance anymore
I’d honestly rather have my idols have voice cracks and a little unstably then not live cause the vocal imperfections prove that their live but “fans” think it’s bad so they hate on them
Aerith deserves a ending with Cloud, i know alot of player based and lore wants Tifa and Cloud but come on Aerith also deserves a ending with him how she was fighting for him

25:37 deadass I think they were singing live, you can hear wheein go flat in some parts, It's barely noticeable behind the loud ass backtrack but wheein was definitely singing at least a few lines unlike the others.

I'd rather see a group lip sync then use live AR atp. If you can't sing, just own it. add on to this, literally but in the final round where you say it sounds like a single track it normally is that. mainly because they want to fake it being real... sigh
Oh My Girl seems to use a lot of live AR in all their performances that I can remember. I hardcore stan them but they always sound robotic. Lovelyz does way better live, just like mamamoo.
Honestly part of me thinks lovelyz did this shit on purpose because they wanted to elegantly call out mnet for staging all the performances, but it ended up backfiring on them.
1:26 listen, as a lovelyz ult, even I was embarassed for the queendom lipsync but the fact that this whole show was edited honestly made it fairer imo just because none of the girls were incredibly skilled. queendom 1 however shoulda been fully live bc mamamoo sounds better live.

The moment Sephiroth speaks here, his first line is already leagues worse than George Newbern's delivery 😂. He sounds so...bland! Newbern's Sephiroth has a tinge of cockiness/teasing to his voice. Like, you can hear him wagging a finger at you just by his voice alone. It's not over the top to the point of arrogance, like Genesis, but it's noticeable. I miss hearing that. He's also quite sultry and I feel like his new VA is scared to go there and lean into that. Let's be honest, depending on who you ask Sephiroth ranges from a little bit gay to a lot a bit gay 😅. You can't have lines like, "On your knees. I want you to beg for forgiveness," or the amount of times Sephiroth has gotten up close and personal to Cloud and whispered in his ears and not wonder if maybe this character wasn't designed to be straight, lol (also, his clothes. Exposed chest in a military that until very recently has only been shown to have men? And why was he shirtless in his final battle with Cloud?! 😂) Speaking of which, he also *really* likes to say Cloud's name. And lastly, and I've not confirmed this, but I heard that supposedly, Sephiroth in Japanese speaks to Cloud the way a wife would speak to her husband. Again, not confirmed...but it would make a hell of a lot of sense. I feel like somehow, Newbern was able to vocalize all of this in his performance of the character, all of his little nuances.

rick gomez just sounds way better than caleb pierce as zack. george newbern is also the perfect voice for sephiroth. caleb makes zack sound like a wimp. and tyler makes sephiroth sound like an edgelord.
I watch Queendom 1 and I find all the contestants are very good and put up good performances. Apart from the edited Queendom performances they are all good singers.
