Bugsy and Meyer's Steakhouse at the Flamingo Las Vegas !

There is no other RU-vidr I know of who announces “and that’s it for the first round of entrees”. Man you operate on a whole nother level!

$16 for a loaf of bread 😮 If it was a bread assortment ok but not for a loaf of bread. Prices were kinda expensive but IMO, the Cadillac Tower seemed to be the only thing worth the price. You really outdid yourself this time, thank you! Sue

Not a wow factor moment. All around solid steakhouse. Never understand why there is a need to inflate drink prices for standard offerings. Anyway……your efforts are always greatly appreciated. Stay hungry for us!

I'm really enjoying your videos. I especially appreciate you putting the name of the restaurant right in the title. Not sure why other reviewers insist on being 'click baity' by trying to get "creative" with their titles. Anyways. I appreciate the straight forwardness of the title and all the specific details for each item you are reviewing. keep up the good work.

Always get a kick of out the beer and wine distribution price that some restaurants charge; a $7 bottle of wine becomes $25 overnight, $12 becomes $50, and $25 becomes $150. German Rieslings used to be common for an after dinner drink. Seldom see them any more. Looks like the Seabass and French onion soup would of been my choices.

You must try Silverado Steak House at South Point... It's old school style They make your salad right at the table the waiter makes it at the table you order a baked potato the waiter's going to make it for you right at the table and put everything you want on it from his cart. All the entrees automatically come with salad and the side. 😊great steaks !

Hi Shin. Imo there should be no "just ok" dishes at those prices, especially entrees. And I trust your palate. As well, to have to PAY for bread. Wait. Whuuut... At those prices? Beyond my comprehension but thanks for letting me dream about that delicious food. 💜

Looks amazing! Whenever we go to Vegas we always try to treat ourselves to at least one dinner that is on the pricier side so this will definitely be one I'd like to try. Thank you Shin!

That bone in ribeye was a thing of beauty! I agree your lamb chops were a bit over. Pity, I love lamb chops and don’t get them often.

My wife and I went to Bugsy and Meyer's in February. She got the Filet, I got the Rib Cap. The Old Fashioned menu was cool. I got the Vermont and she got the Mexican Old Fashioned. They do not screw around with their Old Fashioned's. Overall, we really enjoyed it.

Was a bit disappointed that flamingo wasn’t on the menu, but watching you enjoy that sea bass got my tongue on the fritz!

Aloha Shin! They have lost their mind, charging $112 for a bottle of Chalk Hill. I really appreciate the variety you ordered. We might hit the bar for shrimp cocktail & Guinness. Big bites and big words, you are the best! Mahalo! Ps. The price of the meal is almost a round trip to Hawaii “hint hint”

Last fall -- I had the Tomahawk Pork Chop and it was very unique and cooked perfectly the balsamic glaze really changed my opinion about pork chops. , we also shared a Tomahawk steak at our table with the Yukon Gold Potato puree and Asparagus . Bugsy and Meyers was a treat and a fun place to bring my Swedish Uncle for his birthday, without getting too carried away with price.

I went to B & M shortly after they opened and I liked it so much I went back the next night! I got the porterhouse with pureed potatoes and asparagus. They gave so much asparagus it was like a trough! I like porterhouse because it's 2 steaks, New York Strip and Filet. I sat in the flamingo mural room the first night and the speakeasy the second night! I loved the atmosphere of both areas and I love the look of the copper silverware they use. They used to have a great Crème Cheesecake served with a marshmallow pretzel and a chocolate coin with the Bugsy and Meyer's name on it!

Why would anyone pay for the beer and such? I expect a slight upcharge, but this is just an insult. Ever since Las Vegas became a corporate entity, they have not given much away, such as bread. I am an old fart so I do remember when eating was a lost leader to get you into the casino. But with that rant done. I really enjoy your description of the foods you try. You always have a smile on even when the food is not up to par. What is your favorite cut of steak?

Those cocktail/wine/alcohol prices are pretty outrageous even by Strip standards. I have been to most of the major steakhouses on the Strip, but not this one. I have passed it dozens of times but it never seems to draw me in. Shin, your dining reviews are excellent. The way your frame the shots and the cadence of the videos is consistent and it is clear you take great pride in what you do. Also, you do a really nice job describing the food, taste, etc. I also appreciate that you order lots of things from the menu. I go to Vegas 4-5 times a year and have dined at restaurants based solely on your recommendations. Never been disappointed. Thanks for all of your hard work.

Out of the apps, I think the crab toast looked the best!! Yum!! And so happy you got the lamb...it looked delicious. But overall, from your analyses, I think I'll put this one on the bottom of my list. Thank you for trying it for us!!

Easily one of the most expensive restaurants I've seen you check out. Borderline disrespectful pricing considering your reactions to most of the dishes too (just okay, incorrectly cooked meat temp). Thanks for the tour, always fun to watch!

The food looked great. I grew up with lamb chops on the table as one of the most common meats as a kid and the best part was the crispy meat on the bone. While it may make it look much nicer, it saddens me a little to see it having been trimmed off. Thanks for the video. I appreciate your food reviews a lot and have watched most of them.

Great video, as always. I did love the decor as well, and I'm usually not into those colors, but they pulled it of nicely. I don't drink, so I don't even have a clue how many wines and spirits are out there, looks like they had everything under the sun. My favorite today has to have been the steak and sides. Nice to see you got a decent amount of those mushrooms. I think I could have eaten those 3 sides and the bread and would have been happy.

Particularly enjoyed the steak portion of your meal--the bone-in ribeye, potatoes,mushrooms, and Brussel sprouts are exactly what I would have ordered. It's amazing how far Brussel sprouts recipes have evolved over the years. The ones we were forced to eat for Thanksgiving were the pits! Loved your review. By the way, you are adarable--especially dancing with. Norma-- in the best pizza video.

You are a very nice man Shin and I appreciate your efforts. I must say I stopped watching when you opened the drink menu and I saw the prices. I used to love planning a trip to Vegas and thinking about some nice restaurants I could visit after I retired. Lately the prices have jumped so much so quickly, I find it’s better to stay home! Have fun!

I was going to say, I just went to a Thai restaurant and ordered me lunch special Coconut shrimp for $8.99. Then I saw yours i was like, "OK i think it's worth the $33". =)

Hii Shin!! The Seabass and Brussels sprouts looked phenomenal and that is what I would get there. I kind of feel like the pricing is a little bit high though. Especially the cocktails. Congrats on the awesome pizza review with Norma!

Great video again. 👏🏻 my experience wasn’t as positive my steak was average and my sides undercooked. The cocktails are ridiculously priced. The service was great. Maybe I was unlucky but feel there are better steak restaurants in Vegas. That’s just my experience. Love the vlogs ❤

Hey Shin ! Great review as always. Stayed at the Flamingo last year and it wasn't open yet . Staying again this year cause thier room rates are the most economical center strip. And best of all since we drive out from LA you can self park in the garage rite out back for half the price as valets. The fees are out of control just like the steak house, yikes !!! Everything looked wonderful but ya gotta bend over backwards when the check hits the table. Lol ...my guess is all these high end eateries will slowly go away. Average working people simply can not afford these places . Surely hope you get around to Alder and Birch at The Orleans off strip. Not that far , its just on Tropicana. Thanx for the review as always !!❤

Nobody gonna mention the $18 baked potato or the $14 Coors Light. 😂 with tax and tip that’s $23 for a baked potato. Hard to wrap my head around it.

let me preface this by saying the food looked outstanding! My only beef is with the prices. Basically the prices need to come down about 30% to be more in line with reason. Even the drink menu prices seemed excessive. Though a really nice selection. This is priced like a 3 Michelin star restaurant which clearly its not so I'm still confused. As always, nice video shin.

The food looked delicious and amazing and they had quite the variety for every palette. I realize that food costs are rising and restaurants are charging not only higher prices but cutting back their portions and freebies. But, charging for bread or rolls to go along with your meal? They could give you two small pieces of bread vs an entire loaf. That is like being charged for tortilla chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant while you wait for your food. I just don’t go to those restaurants anymore as I figure they are hurting for money. But, the one that almost gave me a heart attack was $17.95 for a baked potato at this restaurant??? I LOVE potatoes but no way would I pay for a food item that you wash and toss into the oven with no other prep. That is insane price gouging. Thanks for the video!

Have you been to Berry’s Downtown Prime yet? (I don’t think I saw a video for it.) We went there the last time we were in Vegas, and it was amazing. The food was fantastic. My dad calls tater tots “food of the Gods”, and the tots at Berry’s lived up to that nickname! I know the list of steakhouses is LONG (my husband created a spreadsheet with 50 on it…), but if you haven’t check out Berry’s, bump it to the top and go beast! 😊

You look at the menu it’s a high end restaurant this is why your pricing is so high - it a nice place to treat yourself 😊

The food looks really good. I would so get the lamb chop and a couple of orders of the mushrooms. I'm not a fan of you have to pay for bread at steakhouses but if you are getting a well good loaf like that...maybe but still not a fan of the idea.
