Secret Pizza Off Strip - Those Guys Pies in Las Vegas

I found out that Those Guys Pies are from the same folks of Secret Pizza at the Cosmopolitan, which has long been one of my favorite slices on the strip. Not only does Those Guys Pies serve similar pizza to Secret Pizza, but they also have cheesesteaks and chicken dishes as well. I'm certainly looking forward to trying as much as I can because, as you may have heard:

You said a couple of key things. The marinara sauce was good and that really is key in a pizza place. The Philli cheesesteak was packed with meat and had a soft bun. I appreciate the soft bun with a cheesesteak. Some places will toast it and I think that’s a big mistake with this specific sandwich. Another excellent review and video!

I love and hate the strip at the same time. It's a pain in the ass for sure, but it's the Vegas strip. I still really enjoy being there around all the action, the glamour, and the fun. Oh Shin, Those Guys Pies is a wonderful all around resteraunt. Have chicken strips and loaded fries. Love the wings with that sauce. Mozzarella sticks look so good. But the 4- cheese fries interest me for sure!!! The sandwiches I like. Philly Cheesesteak, Chicken Parm, and the sexy sandwich with the peppers. Pizza so good I bet. The pepperoni and sausage the best! Cheese would be good. But the White Pizza with the creamy Alfredo ricotta sauce WOW. Love the cinnamon poppers for breakfast as well!!!

Was just thinking about ordering pizza for dinner tonight. Lol great minds think alike😁. I found a new place where I live that has a sesame seed crust. It is soooo good. Light and airy, I could just eat the crust. Lol But good thing they don’t skimp on the toppings. We didn’t because we just had it last week and the week before. So we’ll get it next week. Hey that’s my hole in the wall I go to, since I live in Henderson. Never knew it had Secret Pizza ties, but have never been to Secret Pizza yet either. I prefer Chicago style Italian sausage “chunks” as opposed to to thin sliced, but that’s just preference. Crust here is great and so is the Philly cheese steaks. Glad you tried them! Two other suggestions… Codfather which was two doors down from here, for fish and chips. And Twisted Sourdough pizza up on Eastern. Not sure if already reviewed. Happy eating Shin!

VWS: Wow the food looked scrumptious 😋!! I am a sucker for sub sandwiches and all of them made me want to jump thru the computer screen . The dessert reminded me of mini cinnamon bun bites and there was a ton. Finally your soda was $2.25 and priced just right. No crimes to report today lol !!

Admire your courage Shin. All the appetisers were a deep fried heart attack on a plate. Sandwiches looked OK. But the pizzas, oh yes, they looked really good. Fantastic thin bases and the toppings looked good. The dessert? like the appetisers.

It seems to be hard to find pizza shop anymore that actually uses chicken cutlets instead of fingers. Fingers are not the same. I used to stop by that location after work before I went to graveyard. I stuck to just the pizzas which were very good. Keep up the good work.

If you like Oregano sprinkled on top you should try Basil. I grow basil in my garden and anytime we order pizza I sprinkle a bunch of basil on it.

@@VegaswithShin IMO when I use the basil from my garden, we wash it then dry it for a week, then crush a bunch of it to the size that fits perfecting an empty seasoning container. The rest we keep whole for pasta sauce recipes and such.

I live pretty close to the Aliante location. Been in Vegas 20+ years. The Ribeye Cheesesteaks are comparable to Pops. Maybe even better

Shin, if you havent done it in awhile do imperials lunch buffet. Ive been three times in the past week, oddly premium offerings for lunch. 1st visit was dungeness crab legs, 2nd visit snow crab legs and today it was lobster claws on ice. Id rate it above makinos lunch buffet. Makino might have better sushi offerings.

Not bad for Vegas west coast! The sub rolls are I guess okay and people from the west coast have nothing to compare it to . If they imported the sub rolls from say Jersey, it would be a game changer. Like the wings that way and then dip in your own sauce . They looked nice and crisp and fresh. Those desert things looked liked munchkins from Dunkin Doughnuts or a version of Italian Zeppoles. Are the owners from east coast?❤❤

There Zeppoles are pretty good, I get them plain and sprinkle just a little powdered sugar in when I get home. The icing is just to sweet with the cinnamon sugar for me.

Pizza looked great, but ive had multiple philly cheesesteaks from there and they arent that great. A mom and pops place should blow away a chain cheesesteak, and Those guys pies doesnt do that. A waygu large cheesesteak from capriottis is more sandwich for the price and tastes better.
