One thing I disagree with you is that I personally find Vabbi just as boring as the stuff before it in Nightfall. You start on a deserty island with a bit of water and greenery. Then you have to embark on a great journey to ... another desert. You do a few more missions there, go through an awesome tunnel to this place you get told about called Vabbi, you arrive there and it is .... ANOTHER DESERT!? It has different a building style, but the characters are rather forgettable and snobby/pretenteous, Tirak Orchard or what its called is a completely intransparent mess unless you have online guides and all in all you are still just in yet another desert. But for most of the other zones I do agree. I especially find the crystal desert very well done in GW. Desert areas are always difficult to make in a way that's not boring in video games. You need a clear but still somewhat mysterious goal, a good pacing to not make it feel like a drag and find a good balance between linearity and open-worldedness. The crystal Desert in GW and Gerudo Desert in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess are probably the best examples for this imo.

4:35 What is wrong with changing sets to play different skills ? What are you on about? That's perfectly normal way to play the game. There are even legit Mo/R builds uses short bows to interrupt skills ... Get over yourself...
Great to see that 5 years after this video, Iron Man is still a pretty populair way of playing the game! I really wish Anet decide to make it an official gamemode (maybe for the 20th anniversery?)

I know what you mean about the mispronunciation of names in gw1 when I was a kid I was convinced for YEARS that the goddess dwayna was "DWAYANA" and I was so dead convinced that once my friends corrected me and showed me the name my whole world just collapsed
I am pretty sure by your fps your gpu is either weak, or drivers outdated, or maybe dying, lol. I am using a slightly newer cpu (2007) and it runs perfectly smooth. What gpu are you using?
