The Best Area In Guild Wars (Prophecies) 

Been playing this game for like 12-13 years, only now realised that those teleporters aren't just trial and error.

I was an elementary school kid when I got stuck in the Crystal desert. Elona Reach I never completed. I want to reinstall and start the game over just so I can finally beat it after all these years

Watch it in 360p like it's supposed to be.

Crystal desert is where the game really starts! So hyped for the MirrorMatchMission. Thx mate, reinstalling GW right now.

These 3 missions were basically training for GW’s PVP modes (mainly HA/GVG)

The Crystal Desert really was where things got real and the game became even more unforgiving especially back in 05/06 when there was only henchmen and you couldn't even flag them. I think they intentionally put a crap ton enemies when you first leave and step into Prophet's Path just to mess with players, lol. Regarding 2:10, you just brought back a memory of 2006 where a kid was in the Oasis crying in chat about how he couldn't figure out the teleporters. I'm imagining him as a lawyer or something now with kids of his own...

2:15 When first I played this game back in 2006 I was at a loss when I got to this point. I couldn't figure out how to proceed, haha.

I remember getting to the desert back in 05 and having zero clue what to do next. I was super antisocial and wouldn't ask for help. I spent hours wandering around that desert. Such great memories.

I think I hit my every first lvl 20 ding in the crystal desert. I remember feeling so ecstatic about it. Seeing your warrior at 19 brought back some good memories. Cheers big D

GW1 was really hella hard in Middle School, I remember having no idea about hero builds and failing every late game mission in Nightfall

Dont forget to do that 1 quest that gives you +15 atribute points!

I remember having the Dune Lizard pet for the longest time.

I love it when splinter weapon throws all those damn numbers on the screen.

Binge watched to catch up and made a gw1 warrior because these videos made me want to play also.

This is where the difficulty REALLY spiked. I couldn't do it as a kid, I just had to get people to run me through it.

My warrior used to run people to every mission in this desert for the smallest amount of gp, yet I enjoyed it. Thats how I got my first elitr armor set (prophecies) Thank you again for this series

its really nice to see that this game still has its core audience; dont get me wrong i love gw2 but this game has my heart. i also played all the og games in middle school lol

I remember struggling the hardest with Elona Reach since it had so many choke points you just couldn't get thru with a random group. It was pretty popular to run the mission back in the day.

Whaaat ? Dude I played this recently and Elona Reach was HARD ! Haha :D I didn't get the bonus and came back alone (all henchmen were dead) with an heroic run and the last crystal with like 40 seconds remaining, hahahaha :D Thirsty River was hard as well, and Dunes of Despair was a piece of cake as I recall, haha :D I think we're at the same level Factions wise, got to be a bit ahead of ya to watch your recent vids, haha :D

I personally got more PTSD from the dunes bonus than from thirsty river. But I agree desert was the first real challenge in the game back then.

the crystal desert is also my favorite LULW also the only place where I could reliably outpost run on my ranger 😏

don't forgot to steal Warrior's Endurance from the warrior boss ;) sweet exp and also good for a W/A dagger spam build ;) Even good for a axe build with Cyclone Axe and Whirlwind Attack

still one of my all-time favourite games. I have 5 different accounts....

This was the hardest area in the game for me until someone I was playing with during a mission told me to get a run to Droks and upgrade my armor since I kept dying so fast.

The best areas in guild wars are realm of torment and far shiverpeaks.

Question: Will you do UW2 (aka The Hall of Heroes/Tomb of the Primeval Kings)? And maybe get Victo's Battle Axe and some other stuff? Or will you skip that?

Aaayy time to fetch warriors endurance for that maximum slapping power. By the way, why are you not using str of melee and judge's insight?

Is there anything like this game nowadays. I love the dual profession system and learning skills from monsters.
