You had the same problem Im having =,I did almost exactly the same things you did. I thought it was a fuel problem, did the same things fuel lines carb etc.The problem is when you check the ignition fire it looks good. What you have to do is check right when it fails, it looks weak or not at all sometimes. Haven't changed mine yet thanks for the help.
Thanks for watching. I didn’t buy new boots. Mine seemed to be in good shape so I just reused them. There is an online parts manual for this model that I reference. I think this link will take you directly to the tie rod and boot pages. partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/navigation/equipment/57732/srch/TIE%20ROD%20BOOT
Hello, and yes. I believe this below is where I downloaded mine. You should also be able to find some printed versions online you could order for around $30. archive.org/details/john-deere-technical-manual-5210-5310-5410-5510-tractors-tm-1716
Well done thx for your informative video. I think the anti tilt is my problem and I’ll fix it tomorrow . I was going to throw it out, but now I understand how I can fix it.
I’ve got a zg123s that I’m going to need to pull the gas tank on. Know you’ve shown a different model but there’s enough similarities I feel good about doing the job. I concur about the spring puller. Just got a pair for only a few dollars and they’re massive time and effort savers. Wish I’d known about them years ago. Thanks a bunch for the video.
I just had to unhook two wires from their connections at that part you are referencing to finish getting that cover off. One wire was blue and white and the other one was brown. Looking back at it I see that it could be confusing and even sound like I was talking about more than two wires. I was saying "blue and white on my right" so I knew that when I hooked them back up, that wire would go on the right side connection vs the left. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.
the reason I suggested that is my TRACTOR has a lever that is too short... So i added a LONGER steel rod to it by means of a clamp and a couple of small hose clamps >>>Works great now I do not have to break my back trying to LEAN over to engage the Lift hahahhah . You did just Fine ...Thanks
Why not just add a vertical part to the handle with a couple of clamps ...an "L" shaped handle would do it and you do not have to take the thing Off the pump ???? You can also shape the added part so that it is forward then you do not have to reach so far to move it ...BTW you might even be able to find a piece of pipe that FITS the original handle ????
I definitely think that would have been the best option. Did later determine that existing lever would not fit it turned. I ended up selling that splitter last year and got one with a log lift. Thanks for checking it out.
Thanks for the review. Just so you know any ~3.7v lithium ion battery can be replaced with any lithium ion battery, all the charging protection/regulation is controlled on a small circuit board thats wrapped inside the respective batteries. You can upgrade or downgrade the mAH capacity on the batteries too, so you can replace the 2000mah with a 4000mah if you want double the capacity, it just has to fit inside. This usually requires soldering though, and make sure the red wire doesn't accidentally touch the white.
With 3M headphones I notice that if you unplug the cord to a listening device, the battery life last longer. But Ive had mine for several years until the headband broke within the cushion. Ive worn them so often that I wasnt that surprised that something would give.
Thanks for upload. Inherited a 4x2 from relative. I have an original AMT600. Thanks to you I located the oil drain plug. I like you put rear wheels on ramps and front on jack stands. Worked perfect. May change Trans fluid later.
$7,000 or $9,000 with all the accessories like auto return. My Iron and Oak 24 Ton Vertical & Horizontal Log Splitter w/ auto return was $3,500 and it works great.
Thanks! This one is the 9 hp. It’s the GX270 and has been easy on gas so far. I’m still trying to figure out the best way to arrange everything for the smoothest flow, but I’m getting there.
