I just want to congratulations on baby number two. Mold exposure is horrible and I have had to do a full detox and I can’t have gluten anymore because it inflames my joints.
Highly recommend looking to see if there are any pay it forward groups in your current or future surrounding neighborhoods! Lots of people gifting diapers their babies have outgrown, bassinets, cribs, clothes, shoes, etc. I've scored so many things that way and I've also gifted things we are ready to part with! Commenting as i watch - I hear you on the gender preference thing. I was convinced #2 was a girl because of how different my symptoms were (I had morning sickness for just a week with #1). I was definitely hoping for a girl for the "pair" as well. We chose to find out early (genetic testing was prioritized for us so we found out that way) and it was another boy! And he's amazing 💜 Now all we get is "Are you going to try for a girl????" 🙄🙄🙄
As an Ob/Gyn and also someone who has used a Doula in both of my births. You can have a doula in the OR (if you desire), I can understand how you may not see the benefit if it is a scheduled cesarean delivery. I will tell you the second time around i went to 41 wk 1 d awaiting labor, hoping not to get induced (Pitocin contractions are so intense and I didn’t want to experience that again); my doula was very helpful as emotional support at the end because I was so anxious and that last week of pregnancy was so long and I was second guessing my decision to await labor versus get induced. Also you probably won’t know ahead of time if you will spontaneously go into labor versus have a scheduled cesarean delivery and it may be very late in the game by that time to establish a relationship with a doula. Of course I know the doula is a cost. I am done having kids but I always tell people that the support of a doula (or someone who really knows birth) is so helpful, I would never labor without a doula.
Thank you for your comment! Actually at our hospital in Raleigh and the one here we were told no doulas in the OR (well, I could if I didn’t have my husband which isn’t an option.) They only allow one person. I’ve already agreed with my doctor that I won’t do induction so it’s either “spontaneous” or c-section for me! I still think there might be some good pieces of having a doula again even if it does end up in c-section! 😊
@@JessieFritz Well that sucks, I know that often time patients are told that only one person in the room, but I know exceptions are made sometimes if people ask. In my experience it at the discretion of anesthesia or if there is an extra person just in case someone passes out, that is what they worry about the most. Usually when there are 2 people in the OR it is usually a family member and a doula. Yes, a doula may be helpful if you decide to await spontaneous labor, especially the waiting game from my experience.
I had a miscarriage 5 months ago and now I am 9 week pregnant .it will be my first kid. My nausea ,morning sickness is just sooo worse. I wanted to find someone who have the same kinda experience .non of the medicines work. I literally puke alot of yellow liquid sometimes which is stomach acid. But your videos are helping me out go through this time. Sometimes my pukes used to cross 9 times a day. I had to get an IV. I am just so scared that for how long it will stay somedays spending a single minute is painful and so hard for me.😢😢
I also have Ally and have 2 separate savings accounts, one for sinking funds and another for one month ahead/emergency savings. I like the idea of a specific “house” savings account.
lol I loved the “did ya’ll just hear my closet?!” That happened to my son and I the other day, I realized it was from having the window open in our room, but my first thought is always that it’s a ghost 😂!! Great budget review, I always enjoy watching these!!
I think it's great to separate. I use Ally too and utilize their bucket system. In it I've got kitchen reno, car insurance (we pay 2x/yr), emergency fund, etc. It's definitely motivating for me at least to see it all separated!
I like having a few different savings accounts! I don’t do sinking funds but when saving for something big I’ve found it’s helpful for me to see a specific account grow! Oh and a video about things you didn’t love or really loved in terms of getting ready for baby # 2 would be an amazing idea!

I did a long video that explained more so i understand why you’re confused haha. My husband was the one that thought I was pregnant - I was sure I wasn’t! So when it was positive I was truly shocked!
I completely understand wanting a different home with a better layout, and I don’t think you’re being dramatic at all! We lived in a rental house up in New Hampshire, and it was 1100 square feet, but soooo awkward. We kept running into doors, stepping weirdly to get around, and just not being able to utilize all the space. Our apartment here in Texas is 750 square feet (just me and hubby), but it flows so much better. Also, not to discourage you, but if the house next door is renting for $400 more than yours, there’s nothing stopping your landlord from raising your rent next year. You could be paying so much more to live in a house you don’t really like :( As for buying vs renting, everyone says to buy a home you want to live in for at least 5 years. I believe that can be a little short sighted because life happens, and sometimes you want to sell before that. I grew up in a military family, and I saw my parents sell many houses, but sometimes it was challenging, stressful, and occasionally they took a loss on the sale. I would never tell someone not to buy a home, but since buying is not the financially obvious choice right now (due to interest rates, taxes, insurance, PMI, maintenance, etc), the reasons for wanting to buy have to be not financial. Do you love a particular area and want to live there a long time? Are you happy with the house itself? If you were to “get stuck” there and couldn’t sell, would you be ok with that? Where do you want your kids to grow up? I’ve been watching your videos for a long time, and you’ve mentioned many times before how much you miss Raleigh. The decision to move or stay is extremely personal, and only you know y’all’s lives, so I’m definitely not trying to give advice. We’re in a similar position as you, except without kids. It’s hard.

🎉😂🎉congratulations 🎊 🎉 my first two children are 18months apart and then my middle baby and youngest children are 14months apart . Yep 3little girls . I wouldn't have changed anything. Now they are 37 35,34. Love them to pieces.
