I will be pre-emptively relocating my functioning TCM. Can you give me the spec for that nut that you supply? I don't need the TCM fixed at this time but would like to try and use the existing part and keep it from frying.
I have a 2002 Dodge Dakota Sport I added a new computer from all Computer Resources and found that I have a SKIM problem now. Never had a problem before. I've followed the videos for the SKIM removal but there isn't a module in the steering column. Where else would it be?

This isnt a problem solved, this is you selling a service, solving the problem would be showing how to do it or telling people to buy hptuners themselves and do skim retrofit for removal

Ive had skim deleted twice by a friend...which it works i know because cranks and dies 3x then locks out even after a skim module removal...anyone dealt w this? 01 dodge neon

We have a 2008 Mazda 3 that while driving in 5th gear at constant speed will make a loud sound a buck forward and the engine revs since it seems to have popped out of gear, then a split second later everything is fine. The AT light also comes on momentarily. We do have the vacuum leak and lean on bank 1 engine codes, so I am not sure it is related. It does shift weird sometime between gears. Could this be the TCM?
I am going to do this when i have a moment to work on my jeep in the next few weeks. P-0513 code. Did a work around to get it going (unplugged battery and a fuse, waited 5 mins) and it fired back on. Once the car is running, can the skim kill power to the engine if im on the road? Or does it only do its initial check at the start of turning the ignition on? The bandage fix got me home, now im paranoid to use it tomorrow to get to work if it could die on me while driving
Procedure did not work at all. After attempting to start the vehicle, the security light went out after 2 seconds. UPDATE: Tried it a second time, and the same thing happened - the security light went out after 2 seconds. Tried it a third time, and the vehicle started but stalled. Tried it a fourth time, and the vehicle started, and runs perfectly. It's like I'm some sort of genius, and don't even know it.
@@acr I'm not having any issues at all. Took less than 5 minutes to do the Security Key Relearn and the Crankshaft Variation Relearn. Customer picked up the vehicle last night, and says the vehicle runs better than ever.
I removed and replaced my PCM. My 2006 Dodge 1500 ran good for about 1hr. It lost acceleration, and idling got rough. I pulled the plugs from the PCM and put back in and it ran again like it should. Everytime I do this, I have to reset and go through the same process. I finally went to the dealer with the skim code PO633. Very expensive key, but this did not reprogram the system. What is the problem here? The dealer wants to soak me for Diagnostics. What do I do next?
You removed and replaced the PCM I see but did you have the SKIM removed from the PCM by us and did you disconnect the SKIM module before installing the new PCM?
my car has electrical problems i think the daytime lights when turned on cause the car not to detect the key and not start or if car is running it makes it stall out
I recently had this service done to my 2005 dodge magnum , after i plugged the pcm back in it still doesnt crank up , do i need to have my key reprogramed? Im kinda lost been without the car for almost a yr now because the guy switching the interior parts broke the skim module off the side of the ignition so the ignition would fit smh. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! Sent in my TCM for repair. It is GREATLY ADVERTISED on their website AND their RU-vid video a "48 hour" repair time. They had my unit for 6 DAYS only to tell me it had a "computer chip that couldn't be repaired"............................... WHAT?!??!?............ isn't your entire business model .... (wait for it) REPAIRING. AND REPLACING. COMPUTER. CHIPS!?!?!?!?!?! Also had to constantly reach out to THEM for updates and anytime I called their receptionist all she did was try to rush me off the phone and give me vague-at-best answers. And on top of that they only refunded me the $245 and not the shipping. For the trouble and headache they've caused, the right thing to do would be to cover the shipping since I wasted the better part of a WEEK on them! I have another TCM in need of repair. I WILL NOT be using them.
I have a 2012 Mazda 3 hatch 2.0 I had tcm problem and omg $$$ for this model? Other years far cheaper. I traced problem to plug up where ecm is also. Ahole aaa thunked the battery ontop the ecm and plugs there. Found issue and all okay, but moved the tcm. Wtf mounting that ontop trans and UNDER battery tray..
Important to turn key all the way to crank or start, and not simply to On position. I tried for 3 10-minute cycles but failed because I was not turning the ignition key all the way to the crank or start position instead of the On position.
I have a few questions. I have several jeeps and i use a few offroad. Would I be able to switch this between my jeeps for which ever one I'm not working on at a given moment? Wrecks and maint go with offroading. Also, I have an after market remote starter on another of my daily drivers. is this compatible with that? I'm searching for answers before I find out I just spent money on a brick. Main problem is with my daily but if this works then why not add a bit of reliability to my off roaders.
