Really loved this song. thank you for uploading it., will listen to this again. You are very talented but I have to say I loved your reaction videos going back, perhaps years...I got a bit turned off your channel when it became all metal, but watching you reacting to things out of your box like Abba and The Carpenters was a complete buzz. You understand musical structure more than most...
I distinctly recall the year this album and Metallica's Black album dropped. It was a banner year for Abstract Inversion (A.I.). Example: the 1991 MTV vma's featured live performances by both groups of the fear driven NIGHTMARE (Enter Sandman) along with the fatherly reassurance of the child's DREAM (Silent Lucidity). This song foretells of the societal ails that would plague American youth in the 90s particularly through the music industry-engineered East Coast/West Coast gangsta rap conflicts which resulted in the deaths of two prominent figures in that genre. Black man trapped again, Holds his chains In his hands, Brother killing brother for The profit of another, Pinpoint nobody wins. Too bad with the power of so much knowledge and wisdom in our possession these days, people prefer comic characters and video games to our rapidly diminishing cultural history
Noooooo..... not to take a ..... on companies doing their thing.... but any biltong or droëwors from a vacuum packed plastic pack is not biltong worth trying or judging the whole experience of biltong on. Do try and find some butchers making biltong and then maybe give a fair assessment. It's sad, I see too many of these youtube videos of people trying these packaged junk biltong. At least try finding a butcher or try making your own. It's simple really, I'm sure you can find a youtube video on how to make it.
I feel like Slayer sometimes, and more often I don’t. Your honesty and detail in describing your honesty is refreshing. So many reactors are just saying what they think people want to hear. I study human nature as sort of a hobby and when I see things I like it really gets my energy up, because so often it doesn’t go that way.
Hi mate. I was obsessed with this album when it came out and have followed the careers of everyone involved. Modo are no longer a thing, but Mehdi (the singer) and I think the drummer made a new band called Shels which has alot of the melodic and contrasting sounds you see here (all available on the shelsmusic youtube channel plz plz plz check them out) . Other members created another band called devil sold his soul. they are much more of a metal sound but also a really good band. you should definitely give them a go.
What I think is an oboe throughout this song is simply stunning, adding to Frida's vocals making them even more spectacular. Gives me goosebumps, and a strong sense of melancholy/sadness in the passing of a love/loved one...
It’s a great song which pretty much made their career in the US. It’s from my favourite XTC album: Skylarking. They are a really interesting group. Here’s a selection of my favourite XTC songs: Making Plans for Nigel. Senses Working Overtime, The Meeting Place, Respectable Street, Love on a Farmboy’s Wages, Towers of London, Wrapped in Grey, Rook, Season’s Cycle, This World Over, Life Begins at the Hop, Dear Madame Barnum, Earn Enough for Us, Runaways, Hunan Alchemy. Well worth checking out the band The Dukes of Stratosphear which is them performing 1960s style psychedelic songs-eg 25 O’Clock, Mole from the Ministry.
I don’t think this is a good “Primus” song.. why are your viewers giving you this shit??? Get some Tommy the Cat, Jerry was a Racecar Driver, Blue Collared Tweakers, Winona’s Big Brown Beaver.. get some live songs too. Covers are rarely a true representation of a bands worth..
You should listen to Johnny Clegg singing "Akanaki Nokunaka" don't look at the lyrics until afterwards you may be quite surprised at what he is actually singing about.
This was ABBAs last recorded album until voyage in 2021 which is their first album but final album in forty years it almost didn’t happen because they were all doing different things and agnetha had become reclusive and didn’t want to really perform anymore she only came back when the group got back together for recording of voyage which is now a show with hologram versions of the group as younger members of ABBA
One (of many options) is that it's an affair - he kills her and it's her ghost singing the regret of leading up to inviting him into her life before he takes it away - also a perfect Swanson for Abba
Everyone is a star in Rainbow, and each knows how bright to shine. Dio/Blackmore song collaborations are an experience you want to have over and over again.
