This show aired as I was in pre-op holding getting ready for surgery. I found the surgical records from this day when I was cleaning out my late dads apartment . I was 2 years old and I had a cyst or growth on the inside of my ear canal. I had a severe ear infection in the ear canal, both ear drums and both ears. I was brought into surgery around 10:26am, right around the time when Bob Barker announced the double overbid. The growth was removed then sent to the oncologist while I was on the operating table. It was benign thank Goodness. I did have a bad reaction to the anesthesia and had a seizure on the operating table towards the end of the surgery. I was supposed to be kept just overnight but I ended up being in the hospital until that next Tuesday. I was on oxygen therapy for about 7 hours upon leaving the operating room. My hands were tethered to my side to prevent me from removing the mask/ breathing tube and IV’s. My parents and grandfather watched game shows to pass the time while I was in surgery. Then they watched the 3:30pm Afternoon Movie on ABC.
I've watched countless episodes and I believe this is the first time I've ever seen them flash the wrong contestant's bid on an IUFB win before, if even for a bit.

Why they were 'concealing' Holly is beyond me! She looked just fine to me. I don't understand....I think Holly being fired had to do with her standing up for Dian.
It's ridiculous to think they dismissed Holly for "weight gain" looking at this episode. What weight? Where? And who cares? I'm so glad she eventually won a massive award from the producers and is putting it to good use for others and for herself.
