thanks for the uploads. I have seen almost EVERY Barker era TPIR episode on RU-vid then found your channel and these are all new. Appreciate the efforts to transfer them from VHS.

Glad you enjoy them. I think the history of the show that has been on the air for 49 seasons is important. I watched TPIR regularly from its start in 1972 through 2000 - when Janice and Kathleen were let go. I remember the details from many of the episodes when I see them again on RU-vid or Pluto TV. Sadly, I didn't have a VCR to record episodes until 1994. Most of the episodes I have come from 1994 - 2000, plus a few earlier episodes taped from GSN.

This had to have been a rerun. March 14, 1996 was a Thursday, and thus, it was the first full day of the 1996 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. _The Price is Right_ *never* airs a new episode on the first *or* second day of the tournament.

If only Tina hadn't of botched up on Penny Ante, then we would have had a perfect show. Oh, well, 5 winners out of 6 games played is nothing to make a big deal about in my opinion. Also, there were some pretty good contestants in this one like when Andrea won Temptation or when Aniss got all 5 prizes correct on his 2nd attempt playing Switcheroo.
