This cake looks delicious. I've got this baking in my oven right now at 4:44am 😅 lol The only thing I did different was split my apples into 2 layers. I'm excited to see how it turns out. Thanks for the recipe!

I’ve been looking for this recipe for years. I know there’s a lot out there like this one but this is the one that is most familiar to me. I remember my folks making this when I was a kid. My folks would also make some grape leaves with meat filling. It was always so good but the beans were just the bomb and I remember waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for them to be ready. I think my mom used ham hocks because my sister and I used to fight over the knuckles. Lol this is awesome. I’m making this thank you.
