To be honest I actually don’t mind the breathing. It makes the experience of doing this kind of thing a lot more real when you can hear the strain and exasperation. GREAT video man I’m planning on getting an MX4 in November so I’ve been binging all your videos. You’re a genuine creator and a real one for putting out the content you do. Definitely a sub from me and a returning viewer.
@@freerfixedit I’ve never been on anything more than a mountain bike and so it’s a whole new type of thing to me and you make it a lot less intimidating with your informative stuff. Thank you for that!!
personally I like 15, can go higher for street, lower for dirt, but 15 is the sweet spot for me, I dont like going much above cause you feel every crack and bump in the road
I can do one handed wheelies going on forever on bikes but since I got my talaria it’s so weird since I’ve never rode dirt bikes and I’m not use to throttle on my hand and when I try do a wheelie I’m just scared and I’m not letting of the throttle and I have to use the break to stop the motor cause my brain still can’t understand to let go of theottle
Luna sells an "upgraded" fork with a 50lb spring instead of the 30sonethjng that's in the stock fork. How does that change it? Does that seem like a good upgrade?
@@freerfixedit yeah it's a fast ace 2.0 but it has an option of a heavier spring. Comes with 30something unless you choose 50lb and there's a choice for 60lb
@@MattPak-xk4es rider preference really. Regen is nice cause you don’t have to use the brakes as much, but for people that like to coast in balance point and do no handers and stuff, you can’t really do that with regen on
Im noticing not many newer videos on these bikes..Im looking for one to Buy..Luna cycle's dont have these.Jot many web sites have any.that i trust anyway lol..But yeah.looking for a trusty place to buy one of these..idc if its a 2023
@@anime7902 I have the first gen. They came with oval connector. It’s super easy to slice or re pin the connector tho. There’s a vid on RU-vid showing step by step
@@herosliveforever3134 sorry to hear that, more lube and baby powder the better. And make sure you’re using spoons and nothing sharp. Can also go around with your hands once the tire is seated and push down all the way around on both sides to try to ensure the tube isn’t resting on the rim anywhere or stuck between the tire and the rim. But in reality man, happens to the best of us.
Thanks for the advice bro. I bought the same spoons you did. Just a learning process I guess hahahha. I will give it another whirl I appreciate your video and advice thanks man
I have the new connector for the headlight, can you please suggest which headlight I should get because I’m struggling to find one that is compatible with the new connector
Got all the parts on, I got the Warp 9 stem lock for the blue color lol. Only thing is have to drill a hole in the center of front fender to re-mount it or use spacers, but that's not a big deal. Going to try to add the cheap Amazon "bark busters" as well.
Nice marketplace find and diagnosis+fix. I'll have to keep my eyes out for deals like this, I usually work on small engine machines, but this is a good area to branch out to for fun.
@@freerfixedit To be honest, I can't really feel the difference. I guess the fronts did seem to improve somewhat and they don't squeak anymore, but now the backs squeak like the original ones. Turns out the original weren't even worn down as much as I thought. And I'm up in the hills going up and down steep country roads and trails on my property. I cleaned everything off with rubbing alcohol just like the Lunacycle youtube video. Not sure what to make of all that
@@julieloudon7513 if they’re squeaking it’s probably because they glazed over. You can take them out and rub them in circles on some sand paper to get some fresh pad material back and it should stop
@@freerfixedit I'll try that this weekend. But the back squeaked loudly right out the box and first run down the road. I rode it again today and I feel the front worked probably better than the OEM ones. I'll jump back on here and post an update. LOL. I'm kicking myself for not doing a stopping distance test like you did. Buuuut I just might put the oldies back in and do a proper test. Thanks for responding
@@julieloudon7513 anytime! let me know how it goes, also, with new pads youre supposed to bed them in. what i did was went about 10 mph and just slightly drug the brake to wear them in. be careful if you do this with the front brakes tho, cause any slight turn and the front end can wash out from under you
Super great video! (Lots of very specific and helpful practical details.) Thank you so much! This video is especially helpful for me and my son (and probably many others), as we do not have a shop nearby who will service Talaria bikes. So, thank you again. You're really helping people.

@@SweatBoyo yeah, I don’t think this actually adds much speed, but it’s definitely easier on the motor and gets you up to speed faster, and slightly better range cause of the lesser resistance
