I agree as I am having bad experience with Rubberb as my band developed cracks and they will not stand behind by replacing or EVEN offering a discount on new!! Steer clear. Buy Everest
To be honest, the company didn't do a great job but a little chip in the strap shouldn't be an issues especially if it doesn't appear when you wear it, create discomfort or lead to cracks.
There should be an appropriate aftermarket spring bar to fit your needs. Or, post a question in an Omega forum, I'm sure someone has an option. And, oh, I did hear your comments about OEM spring bars. Manufacturers buy them from suppliers, so many aftermarket bars can be of higher quality.
I've also had a really bad experience with Rubber B. I bought one from a jewellers here in the UK and they fitted the strap for me. I wore the watch occasionally but most of the time it was in my safe. I went on holiday and wore it in the sea and pool every day and ran it under the tap every evening to clean the salt off. About 6 months later, still only wearing the watch on rarely (it was a very expensive Rolex) I noticed cracks in the strap- both pieces. Very big cracks. I contacted the jeweller who said because I'd owned it for over 12 months (just!) it wasn't their problem but they would contact Rubber B on my behalf. I sent them photos. In short, they didn't care! To paraphrase their response "our straps are so good, and of such high quality, that any issues are something that you have caused, not us" And that was that. I messaged them and got the same response. The jeweller said that they wouldn't replace it because it was outside the 12 months, but would give me a 15% discount on another strap. There was no way I was going to buy another. I uploaded the pictures of the faults to the Rubber B facebook page but they kept taking them down. As I paid £160 for a strap that lasted some 18 months of very light wear, I'd never buy another.
I bought a rubber b strap a couple years ago. Because of this video & the very poor customer service this gentleman received, I will never buy another one. Rubber b, your dead to me.
I had my 16710 polished by RSC and I completely regret it. The job was fine apart from one lug. I would absolutely advise not having your watch polished.
I have the 1861 Hesalite and contemplating if I should upgrade to the 3861 Saphire. What do you think? is it worth to pay ~$3k USD more for this upgrade?
No way. The case back impresses normies but you don't need that noise. And the new bracelet, it's pretty but I don't think it's quality. Just get a strap for the hesalite.

Dude, you have problems. I understand you don't like omega. Each to their own but do you realise you sound ridiculous? At one point, you mentioned,"typical omega watches, don't align"(it's not normal for them to be misaligned, they will fix it if you take it back to them) Secondly, you said, "tudor has better chrono movements" I mean..... Lmao It takes only one search on reddit to know how much problem tudor has with their qc! Honestly your collection doesn't surprise me, typical rolex fanboy. I wonder if you would own as many Tudors if they weren't sister company of rolex?
I have a friend that was denied service for a misaligned chrono hand "it's within spec". If you think the 3861 holds a candle to the B01 then there's really no debate to be had.
@@aussieexpatwatches About your friend: was it an omega boutique or some ad? Because as far as i know, omega boutiques do fix it for you. Again from what i know, it's very common for brands to say,"it's within spec." Sad but true. Not just omega. Tudor,breitling,every single brand uses that to not take responsibility for their bad qc. Sad to know, your friend had a bad experience though. About the bb chrono: bo1 isn't even a tudor movement. It's literally in the name, BO1. But you're talking about the looks of the movements, sure it's better looking.
@@exploretheinternet2334 It was a multi brand AD. Sure the b01 wasn't originally developed by tudor / kinisi, but it's a far better movement and at about half the price.
@@aussieexpatwatches that's why they refused to fix it. Omega boutiques are a different story. If your friend still has the watch, ask him to take it to an omega boutique. People say, buy watch at a discount but it's cases like your friends' where buying from a boutique is the smarter idea. You have that peace of mind. Bo1 is a "far" better movement, in terms of what?! Looks? Sure. Power reserve? Yes. But in every other metric, it's inferior. I mean come on! 3861 is way more capable technically and it has way more heritage( if you care).
Called the the Pink Panther. But your review is beyond biased. As an owner of this exact watch, a Daytona, Zenith and a Speedmaster, you statements are not objective at all. The Speedmaster does not have a cheap bracelet. All of these watches are amazing. Understand it's you're reviewing your opinion, and will respect that. However your type of review is not for me wishing you the best of luck will not be supporting.
He's caught up in the hype of the watch, which is somewhat understandable. Prices are plummeting on the secondary market though - at this rate will be barely above retail in a year's time, if production continues.

if you yourself say the watch is too big for you (and from the video i would agree...), why would you buy it? are you planning on flipping it or sth? trying to boost your buying history with the ad so you can get that platona?
My wrist is small. In reality, MOST of my collection is "too big". I simply don't care about the size being "for me". I love looking at them and wearing them regardless.
I agree. Sorry.. its really the limit of my phone. I do have an action cam that is much more pleasing but I can't promise it's the last you'll see of phone shots if I'm out and about.
