Red, Blue, Yellow were misunderstood as primary colors. At the time when that theory was created, under the yellowed light of gas lamps, Red, Blue, Yellow looked like primary colors. But now that we have full spectrum indoor lights, Magenta, Cyan, Yellow are closer to true pigment primaries. Now a days, people who talk about color theory tend to agree that CMYK is closer to true primaries than RBY. So many of us have been mislead.😱🎨🖌
I'm here wishing all Ultra Beast enjoyers a very pleasant browing RU-vid today. (My favorites are Stakataka Blacephelon and probably number one Xurkitree! I caught a shiny in S&S and he's my guy. My funky dude.)
Hearing you tie together all the Ultra City(?) starters together was amazing. As for the Zodiacs, i agree with another person tbh - you should make them like Mythical pokemon. However, I have my own idea on how they might fit into the story. They are based on literal mythical/superstitious topics - things which norrmally would not fit in amongst a region based on STEM topics - and as such I think they'd be a perfect stand in as a lesson one's awareness as a leaner - awareness of things that seem like science or seem official but are held up by dated beliefs and/or shady support work. As a learner you gotta stay alert for people trying to peddle ideas not out of interest of progress but simply their own gain, power, just causing trouble, etc - the sort of stuff you wouldnt want to attach yourself too. As literal Zodiac beasts representing these more. . .out there ideas from the past, they'd be a good carrier for the concept in the game I'd say
I was sort of taken a back by his use of the insult " Man-Child" all whilst speaking exactly like a Man-Child.... Seriously, just pronounce THE instead of DE and you would sound 20 years older.
My friend and I were talking about the “Ride” Pokémon in XY and how they would appear in Z-A: Skiddo/Gogoat (Evo/Mega?) Mamoswine (Variant/Mega) Rhyhorn (Mega Rhyperior?) Variant Altaria (Thunderstorm?) Mega Noivern (Hang Glider) Water Travel Mon? Plus alternative methods of traveling: - Bikes (The bike was invented in France) - Roller Skates (Invented in France) - Carriages (XY’s Taxi Service)
Alternatively, the Mixed/ *Legends* Trio COULD be as follows: Bulbasaur *Battle Bond* Torchic *Battle Bond* Froakie *Battle Bond* INSTEAD of “Megas” they’ll ALL be referred to as “Battle Bond” Forms, since that’s what LEADS to a strong connection to ACHIEVE a Mega Evolution-Strong *BONDS* between the Trainer and Pokémon while in *BATTLE* ! (Since Legends: Arceus didn’t have “Held Items”, Mega Stones might not even appear in Z-A…?)
Legends: Arceus had Variants + Catchable Gen 4 Depending on how many Pokémon will be in Legends: Z-A, we might get 3 sets of Starters minimum! XY featured Kalos’s trio, AND Kanto’s trio were Given as well. If EVERY Mega is back, that might include Hoenn’s trio as well. (Not including M Rayquaza, P Groudon, P Kyogre, M Latias or M Latios) What this means *potentially* Mixed Trio (“Legends”): Snivy (Grass/Poison) Scorbunny (Fire/Steel? /Electric? /Ground?) Piplup (Water/Ice? Water/Flying?) Kanto Trio (Obtainable) Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle Hoenn Trio (Obtainable) Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip Kalos Trio (Obtainable) Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie* **Battle Bond Starters//Greninja ≠ “Mega” Kalos//Greninja???**
When Cliff Stoll appeared on my screen, I grinned ear to ear and put my hands in the air. Doesn't surprise me at all that he's part of the positive energy of an already very interesting video. I'd have liked to hear more about your ideas about what *does* practically make the Ultrabeasts feel different, but it was a good watch and I always like the high-effort good video techniques.
I'm not too fond of Glasage being so humanoid, it looks too much like a regular Pokémon. Maybe I'd like it better if it had only one leg? But then it wouldn't really look *fast* enough for its stats. Shockorb, however? No notes. That's just my starter. Move over, it's mine now.
I do think if you go back someday that Yellectro & Shockorb are very good & imo don't need much changed (besides names *maybe*). Frosteal & Glasage need the most work I think but they're still super fun!
