Learned something new, is pedal tones the music theory nomenclature for atmosphere?

@@EchoSoundWorks honestly no clue, I know that it's a tone that doesn't change interval, so I guess it can also apply to atmospheres. But overall I just know it from how movie composers call it haha

Btw there’s a really cool preset in Logic Step FX that does wonders for atmos🔥

@@HeyItsUSM4N which preset do you like? I’ve used bubbling shimmer one too many times

@@EchoSoundWorks my go to is the Deep Space preset! Sometimes especially if im making vocal atmos I’ll throw some bandpass and or distortion right before it

True man! that piano roll is a life saver.. I use both fl and live.. I feel the beat making process is easy in fl compared to other DAWs.

But why is it in French? FL studio is developed in Belgium right?

@@EchoSoundWorks Belgium is partly french-speaking. Another example would be Gross Beat which is pronounced like 'Big D***', not to mention BooBass and Slicex… yes, FL devs are like that 🤭

I started last year on garage band on iOS, it’s very limited and I wanted to prove to myself and people I can arrange sounds well enough that I’m worthy to spend the money on a real Daw. It’s always worth it to start free. Figure out if you’re passionate before spending hundreds on a setup. You need a seriously good computer to run the good daws at max capacity as well
