I know this video is old but I'm going to ask you anyway My 1994 celica is cranking but it won't start 3sge 2.0 At first I thought it was the fuel pump because when i sprayed some fuel in the intake it started for a second but died right after so i went ahead and removed it and found that the connector on the fuel pump assembly is fried So i replaced the connector and the cables and changed the fuel pump but it didn't want to start Is there anything I need to check next? I don't think it's the injectors because they can't go bad all at once right? My English is not that good so i hope you can understand what I'm trying to say 😅 And by the way thank you for making videos on the celica because not a lot of people upload anything about it
Yakima roof rack. If you go on their website, you may be able to find what you’re looking for then look for a used ones online so it’s cheaper to buy unless you prefer new. Good luck.
Hey pal. Have a problem with my 97 celica gt 3s-ge. Cold start is very long. If i turn it off after cold start and on again then starts normal. If it sits for a 1-2 hours then starts too long. If i pump the gas pedal while starting then it starts a bit faster but not significantly. Changed parts so far. Air filter Oil+oil filter Fuel filters+fuel pump New battery Alternator belt Spark plugs Spark plug wiers Timing belt Water pump New coolant New distributor No fuel or air leaks, mixture is right, pressures are normal. All fuses and sensors checked or changed.
@@charliexiong6541 it has a brand new battery. Alternator has correct loading/voltage(sorry my english is bit rusty so dont know how to explane it better😅) will check the injectors next.
@@masonhenderson3467 Hi, oh so you're the person who purchased the car. Nice, the car is very straight with great foundation to work on. It just needs new paint. I'm glad it goes to a owner who will take good cares of it. I would like to see the outcome after paint. I'm sure it will look nice. Thanks!
It could be many reasons why it stall out. Have you checked all vacuum hoses, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, fuel pump, fuel injectors and etc.? I would start at the cheaper fix first. Good luck.
@CharlieXiong wow brother this looks amazing, I want to do something like this to my ‘95. My son is 12 so I have a few years to pass it on to him before I can build it. How much Am I looking forward to spend approximately. I’ve had mine for a few years now
Hi, it really depends on what platform you are planning to build your celica. If you just want to make it look stock as possible, maybe sourcing out parts from part car or local junkyard if your celica is missing parts. If you're planning to get some power plus Celica st205 parts. It definitely will be expensive depends on where you buy the parts from. I collected my parts as far as 2015 so I were able to get the parts for less compare to now. Good luck with build.
Hi, to fit the gt4 bumper. You will have to removed the Oem crash bar because the GT4 crash bar is much smaller. If your gt4 bumper comes with fog lights, you will need the GT4 crash bar because the fog light brackets will bolt onto the GT4 crash bar. If you have the Gt4 hood, you will need to extend ONE inch to your hood latch as the GT4 hood has a rise in the center and sits higher. The stock hood latch will not be compatible with the GT4 hood. Good luck
I am working on a gt4 conversion on my celica I drilled, shaved and tapped the 5s-fe block to be able to bolt in the transfer case and to fit the rear diff and subframe I intend on reaping the floor of the trunk of a caldina just waiting for the car with the right price to show up then I want to put a beams head on the 5s and turn it into a 5s-gte but only time will tell if I ever conclude this project. I am going the opposite way that u did I want to make a wolf in sheep's hide but still I love what u did to your car.
Bought mine long time ago and it’s actually plastic not fiber glass. It has pre drill holes and bracket ready for install. If you have the ones without brackets nor predrill holes, you will need to diy and make it fit as the fiber glass is not 100% perfect fit. Apply 3m tape to make it sit flush. Good luck.
Thanks! You are absolutely correct, but I owned this car for over 10 years and the gt4 front clip I bought back then was a little over $1k. Definitely worth it.
