Hi, the s54 holds up pretty good. So far it hasn’t give me any issues yet.

Hi, I’m from Ca. I had my wires/harness worked by Wiregap.

I used synthetics 5w30 as recommended on the oil cap. I know many use different oil for their own liking but mine has been fine so far.

Over $6k was invested into the motor with new parts while the motor was out. Reused the S54 Tranny from my 5sfe. The motor alone with harness and ecu was $2k.

@@charliexiong6541 as someone who has never done a swap, do you think this would be a good first tackle on an engine swap without taking it to a shop?

@@shakita7280 if you are mechanically inclined and have the knowledge and tools to get the job done then yes.

I’m in the process of deciding on an engine swap for a 1992 Celica ll trac with a 2nd Gen 3sgte. Will the 4th Gen 3sgte the best engine to swap with a 5th gen? Looks good your setup! Keep it up

@@jmuring hi, many prefer the e153 tranny out of the mr2 turbo or the Camry/solora v6 5spd but the s54 out of the 6gen celica 2.2 5sfe works as well.

so we can,t swap the engine and gearbox of the st205 to the st202? sorry Ive have so many question,, Im new about engine swap,,I really like the 6th celica 😁😁😁@@charliexiong6541

Yes, hot start issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had same hot start issue on my gen2, I replaced the spark plugs, ignition coil and most capacitor inside ecu.
