About 40,000 misinformed people who watched this video including myself. The plug is not recessed a 1/8” on mine. It is recessed almost one full inch. Hopefully helps someone and don’t spend a bunch of money trying to fix something that isn’t broken.
So is there a way to use one of these transmissions behind a small block or even an ls style engine not a factory combo? Ive decided to stay with an automatic and i got a 6l80 2wd unit essentially for free. I know the controller is internal and relies on inputs from the pcm so is there a way to mimic the signals that thebtransmission expects to see or....?
I got a 92 with a 6.0 ready to go i was thinking about running a 6l80 i got a local shop that builds them and said it can hold 1000hp Will i have any clearance issues with that transmission?
I replaced the passage sleeve twice and it’s still leaking from the connector. I have a new TECHM installed as well. At this point I’m tired of dropping the pan to address the sleeve. Plus the pins aren’t loose.
I have the following problem: I do not have a ground in any sensor and it is all new, when connecting a separate ground they do work but not with the cable grounds.
I got a tac module from the junk yard but it’s for a 9 pin pedal from a 2003 Tahoe. So it didn’t work with my bmw pedal. I saw that the ACC-1011 tac module is compatible with a 6 pin pedal. So thats where I was wondering if I can use a bmw 6 pin pedal, since the gen 4 tac modules support the bmw pedal
Can this TCM, even though its internal, still be reset by unplugging the battery for 30 mins? Great video btw. I was having trouble finding where the TCM was on my 2016 suburban
I have a 2012 camaro SS 6.2 with a 2010 6L80 behind it. The TCM wont communicate with the ECM. Took it to the fifth shop today and all they did was to loose my tune. Can you delete the vin and install the correct vin into my TCM,
@@HERNDZ454 I’m having issues with my 2011 SS. I have no gear display on the cluster. Also it’s stuck in first gear but has reverse. It still pulls hard but won’t shift and rpms just go up. Is yours like mine?
If u have issues with the E12 and it doesn't grab. Apparently some sockets are deeper than others. What i did was grind down the E12 i had a little and it worked. When i first put the E12 it would slip off like it was to big but the issue was that the the curved par of the socket was too deep and the star pattern wouldn't make enough contact. Great vid helped me get an idea of what to expect before taking it apart thanks 👍
Hello awesome video. I have a 2014 silverado 1500 lookn at doin this. Could you have you adapter plates or would that make things different How would this work with Stealth cam set up. Any suggestions.
Looked up parts. Bare sub frame 400.00 rear diff 1100.00 and what ever the coil overs cost depending on brand. Probably be in it for 3500.00 total if you do it yourself I'm guessing.
OMG thank you you answered my question I have a LQ4 24X reluctor wheel and I found a 05 GTO that has no motor in it so I’m trying to figure out if my motor will work I think it will not sure about the cam sensor if it’s on the front of the motor mines on the back
I just bought this harness from psi. Bought a 2003 suburban that had the fuse box and body harness catch fire and melt . I used this harness to drive the suburban to my dads property just had to remove vats with my buddy’s hp tuners . The harness was perfect just had to notch the maf connector .
I have a question. I have a 01 vette. The engine block vin number and car vin match but my date casting makes NO sense. My casting date is K016.. so Nov 1st 06 or 96?? Lol makes no sense. C5’s ran 97-04. Plz help me understand lol
So if i purchased a harness from PSI. I had to change my intake and the map sesnor will not integrate. Can i buy a pigtail to splice in from PSI. SUGGESTIONS?
