I just bought this harness from psi. Bought a 2003 suburban that had the fuse box and body harness catch fire and melt . I used this harness to drive the suburban to my dads property just had to remove vats with my buddy’s hp tuners . The harness was perfect just had to notch the maf connector .

Thank you! Looking forward to more LS conversion wiring tips. I wouldn't mind a video on the 4L60e Range Switch. My Gen 3 5.3 will be going into my 79 Trans Am. I have your harness. I guess it will just use the console switches? I also have a Shift Works kit.

I have a 1038 harness with 2 purple TCC brake switch wires, I have them T'd in and it doesn't function at all, the swap is basically an ls3 with a 2008 4L60, running a P38/T42 platform, the throttle body doesn't know witch gear to select sometimes and short shifts, I don't really want to spend 5 or 600 on a dyno session.. but looking more that direction. The tune is based off a 08 truck with a 5.3 so it can talk to the TCM, I am probably sacrificing a lot of performance due to this fact, a tune maybe and this thing will be unstoppable. It's already a handful.. I understand this combination I did has never been put in a factory GM vehicle, LS3 with a 4L60. Side note the transmission is 15 pins and was all professionally built, it well exceeds L70 specifications, and it has a 3000 roadrunner converter, with TCC~

First two thing to check is that both the purple wires have 12v when brake is applied & make sure your torque converter is locking and unlocking properly. Also you can give us a call at 732-276-8589 and dial 3 for tech support.

So I have a gen 4 setup. E38 with t42 ECM. I have a problem with this. My brake is wired to give 12v when pressed and a ground when released. In the vcm scanner it shows brake on/off properly. But after the vehicle is running it only shows and brakes off. Doesn't change. No help from anyone online. And a ton of people are having the same issue....

I have an gen 4 E38 ecm all I did is tie into white wire on brake switch to the white and blue wire and seems to work obs 1990 pick up

I wish you guys would just add this into the cost of the harness OR make it an option on the 4l60/80 and 6l80/90 transmissions. I forget to order one almost every time.

I have gen 3 with drive by wire, factory truck harness. What is the third wire you mention for drive by wire? What is its function, where does it go?

on our harness the 3rd wire is for the signal and is in our under dash bundle to the pcm. Check a wire diagram of a stock harness to figure out there that wire is. We hoped this helped!

What pin on the pcm connector is used for the yellow wire brakes applied gen 3 drive by wire

The yellow wire for the brakes applied would be found in the tac module not the pcm on our products. Also if need be give our tech line a call at 732-276-8589

The TCC will not lock-up because the PCM thinks your on the brakes. This is a safety feature, If you were to lock-up the rear brakes while the TCC is engaged.....The engine will stall.

Yea, Sorry about that it was one of the 1st videos we did with our new crew and the audio has some problems. It is all fixed in most all of our other videos and soon we will be installing a tcc brake switch into some project cars and we will make a new video when that happens. Tho we hope the video did help you out.
