I was going to do an electric pump set up like yours for roofs. I priced everything and it was about $500. Not bad but i decided ro go with the xjet. Ill have to carry a bucket but ill still be able to control my percentage and it was only $200. Havent done any roofs yet but if i ever get going good ill slowly upgrade.

I think it just puts out too much volume. With the pump you’re able to control the volume a lot easier (in my opinion)

How bout that siding that's showing up high on the roof where the pitch changes? I'm assuming your rinse bc sh with get overspray on it but will the additional rinse show on the roof from watering down the percentage?

Yeah, you need to rinse it for sure and if you need to re-apply in that area, then do it.

How large was your batch mix for this job? I have a 25 gallon tank just trying to get an dies of how long will last on a job. What was Sq footage?

This was the biggest shingle roof I’ve done to this point. I believe I used around 15-20 gallons SH & 20-25 gallons of water. 50-50 batch Mix. Maybe less than half SH. This house was around 2,500sqft I had two 30 gallon tanks that I batch mixed.

You are moving right along brother. You using a 5-6%? You rinsing or letting mother nature take care of it? It’s always good when you have the spousel unit with you.

4% on this roof, but usually 5-6%… I don’t rinse shingle roofs, just metal. Thank you for your support 💪
