Hi, my name is Dutchy. Welcome to my Channel . Dutch Oven, Cast Iron, Asado Cross and live Fire Cooking is a passion of mine. Through this Channel i want to bring these Arts of Cooking up to date in the 21st Century. I will be using Traditional Cooking Implements and i will be introducing some New Cooking Implements, Techniques and Recipes.

What starts as a hobby
Cooking has been part of my life as far back as i can remember. It all started when i was in the Scouts and we had Outdoor Cooking Competitions. We would cook on wood fires and produce a three course meal and be judged on it. From those early days the real thrill is cooking live fires, Wood or Charcoal.
Grows into a mission
So what starts as a hobby, soon turns into a Mission. A mission to teach, share and encourage people in the art of Live Fire Cooking. I will be attempting to pass on my experiences, techniques and recipes through this Channel.

hi i just did my first pork belly on ninja. Thanks brother, it turned out amazing. People don't load the stuff up with all the bull they are putting on. Salt pepper garlic, whatever this guy has; best!!!!! mine was a frozen one from Germany. unbelievable. Try this one/

What I find bemusing is that you set the timer for 3 hours only cook for 1 hour 20 turn up the heat to 200C, and then no more times mentioned!

The only problem with these ribs is they are often not well trimmed with tons of cartilage tubes in the bottom.

I've tried traeger, pit boss and ninja pellets. None of them can compare to the smoke flavor of the ninja pellets. You have to remember every other pellet is designed to burn and produce heat, ninja pellets are designed to produce flavor. You're basically comparing apples to oranges. I'm going to stick with Ninja pellets.

2 things….did you know your handle is upside down 😊…..secondly what is the max temp in c you can set on your Ranger? Just following the instructions for the initial burn on mine…..instructions say set it to 250c…..but The display goes up to only 230c …?

We made a Neapolitan pizza on our woodfire grill last Friday. Just used the flat tray and made up the pizza on a piece of lightly oiled teflon sheet cut to size so I could just drop it on rather than needing a peel. Two minutes on high followed by a minute or two on air fry mode to crispen the top up a bit more. Tasted superb. The Mrs isn't a pizza fan but she wants us to make another next weekend with different toppings. Success!

Very good question! And the simple answer is, the Pellets ignite in the Top Half of the Hopper, not the Bottom Half!

Oui, les douanes n’autoriseront pas l’entrée de pellets dans l’UE. Seulement l'économiseur.

Normally I use a Pro Q, but just purchased the Ninja and was concerned if it would deliver, you have confirmed it does so here goes. Great video Thanks

Well done bud, next time make your life easier when it comes to biscuits use self-rising flour, butter milk , salt, some black pepper if you also choose and of course the cold butter. Work it only until it comes together folding it each time to make layers but don't over work the dough you will love the result.
