I didn't understant. You are saying that the bubles are not good, but I was thinking that the bubles make the cake lighter. Why do you want that the bubles come up to the surface while banging the pan 2:58 ? Don't we want the bubles inside the cake ? Why do we want to get rid of them ?

I know it seems simple but you teaching it and the way you taught it was amazing thank you thank you thank you. What was the game changer for me was using gum paste instead of fondant the fondant kept cracking.

Hi Edna. I want to make cake for my daughter in laws birthday next week. It not clear to me is this 2 or 4 cake layers? Do i need 4 cake pans as the batter will fill 4 cake plans? Please advise ASAP so i can proceed. Im a single with no circular cakes so i need to know to buy 2 or 4. The picture shows 4 layers, the recipe says 2 cake pans. You know a guy can get quite confused in the kitchen. Maybe I should cook in the garage, LOL. Thanks

With the addition of butter and extracts you don’t get that flavor. You must use a good quality high ratio shortening, otherwise it won’t be as smooth.
