Hi first time seeing this video. And like it. So after riding the 850, I there a real big difference between Polaris 850 and Alfa 800 in term of power in deep snow and climbing? I would prefer an Alfa but that 850 in on my mind too. Is the difference for an 850 worth buying even if I'm a cat guy
My opinion from riding different 3 sleds for the 2023 season last year. Is that the 800cc cat motor is a high compression engine that is super tourqey, paired with typical cat low gearing I'd say it's better that how the 850cc polaris motor is with the lower compression and higher gearing. Cats don't do well on top speed or drag racing, but for climbing and tree riding they are my preference. My 2019 got totaled after 3269 miles and I went and got a 2021 165 hard-core, even after riding a 9R polaris. Real intrigued to see how the cat 858 competes in the new catalyst chassis.
@@renegaderiders9289 thank you for your well described answer. It help me in my decision since I looking to get one of those two sled and for one more recent than my cat I already own. Great video and good description again it help a lot.
How can I tell between Dana 50 and 60? I found a 2001 f250 with a good deal but idk if it’s a 60? Also why is the 2005+ axle better than the older models?
Less issues with the talcum seal failing while running methanol injection. I've heard the densos are good as well. Have a set ready to put on. These cars eat plugs ever 60ish k it seems on methanol. Stock plugs less than 10k
Update: well not sure exactly what it was. I added a ground to the transmission, fixed a mess of someone before we owned the truck not putting wires back where they run best, untangled them, added 2 new griunds to the block, and grounded the steering column, also while doing it all left batterys unhooked to reset ecu. Also found that drivers side battery tiedown was broken allowing battery to rest on the pcm plugs. :) no more shift flare. No more clicking reverse relay. And fan clutch was all good. Thank you omfg. I've done the shift flare kit fix. Replaced all kids of stuff. Sigh. 2200$ if I go out this wire broken I'm gonna turn in my ase card. Lmfao updat
@@victordelarosa589 have you check the plugs by the driverside battery? I also did the "fix" with the silanoid and the rest of the kit that I ordered. We haven't had a issue since. Definitely change the transmission filters also.

Renegade.... thank ya.. for your reply... that means alot 2 me.. I'd like 2 leave it alone .. completely stripped down.. just remove the rest of the pumpkin gears.. he he hollow axle.. I have no need for a 4x4 or the stress of upkeep and maintenance... knock on wood I have no need for a 4x4.. if I do ill call a buddy or rent a rig...etc.. or get a running start at it.. haha.. anyways I'd like 2 leave it as is if I can get away with it... I can work on vehicles have been for 41 years.. but don't have much experience in 4x4 hubs.. thanks.
I installed vibrant ultra quite resonators and deleted my mufflers on my GT1 with the rest of my exhaust stock and MAN so much drone my ears hurt at 2k to 2.8lk RPM. I did notice my pipes are not all the way through the bumper tips I hope this fix truly works man, thanks.
Same thing happened to me. Going down the road a 70mph when my rpms when high like the excursion was shifted into neutral so I let off the gas. When I put my foot on the accelerator again the truck must have shifted into 1st like you said and everything went dead as my rear tire locked up. The fan clutch pigtail looks just like yours
Curiosity on the follow-up with using the balancing beads how long did you get out of these considering doing the same. All I've heard about tread right is balancing issues so I thought the balancing beads would work but curious on your results.
this may be the solution to my stupid drone issue got a muffler delete and putting tips seems like a huge mission gonna order this and hopefully it fixes it! thanks for sharing! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08FWV1NY5/

I'm running TreadWrights on my excursion. I did have issues at the start with balancing, but TreadWright sent me 4 new tires and the problem was solved. I use balancing beads and they are great. I removed one tire after broken belts in 10,000 miles. I now have trouble free tires with 20,000 miles on them.:)
