one problem i noticed ... most of the listings say ; reviewing applications .. so it might not be easy to get any house sits ?? however i did notice the longer stays ; a month were more available

No it’s very easy! When we have applied we get every sit. New sits come up everyday. Set where you would like to go/ then your dates. Apply as soon as it comes in. I also have been through every continent liking places and putting them on my favourites - so when they do come up we get notified- we got the place in Italy that way. 98% hours of our stays have been with pet sits since July. We could easily stay in the UK and never need a house. 🤣 Lots in Australia too

What a brilliant option. And what an incredible service/idea for both the traveller and the pet owner. I just have to look in the eyes of my dog (Kenya - a 10 year old all black Cocker Spaniel) for a single moment and I fall in love with her again… every time. As a retired individual (my Wife has only 1-2 years left (of work not living!)) and who children have both recently left, my dog gets all my attention (multiple daily walks, snacks, snuggling etc.). When my Wife and I seasonally travel or slow travel, I would ABSOLUTELY consider this website’s option to stay with someone’s pets. To be honest… I’d even feel alright paying THEM! Thanks for mentioning this service, and for today’s video. Cheers.

I just love doing the pet sitting because you meet so many different personalities and they all touch my heart in a unique way. Hi there, I have two sons 32 and 27. Like you finding it hard to get ahead. My one son makes really good money but spends it as fast as he makes it. My younger son works in landscaping and is a saver and he actually financially way ahead of his brother. We have met so many young people working overseas for and getting paid in Euros and US dollars. Some have been retrained so that they can work overseas and the training does not take too long. Randy is working on a video about money / Canada / etc because it’s really upsetting to us to see the direction Canada is going. The government is creating everyone into slaves through debt. Home ownership is the biggest trap.

It’s amazing! After travelling for the last few years, having pets and dogs is what I have missed the most. We stay for free in exchange for pet sitting. The homes and apartments are incredible! One thing you should check is the requirements for entering the UK with your doggies. At one time - dogs and pets had to be in a q long quarantine. I don’t know if things have changed. Renting a car and driving is certainly the way to go. It is scary at first but now I’m use to it. We are truly loving Scotland. I’m releasing a video today, the following video will be about pet sitting. Cheers, Jill

1. Come back in 2025 when the north-south double track electrified railway is fully completed. Then independent travel would be very convenient. Yòu can visit the major towns/cities on the west coast of peninsula Malaysia by rail. 2. Come again in 2028 when the East Coast Rail Link is complete. Then you can easily visit the east coast of peninsula Malaysia. 3. In between those dates, you can come in order to drive the Borneo highway from Sarawak to Sabah. That highway is expected to be fully completed in 2026.

Hi Jill and Randy we enjoy watching your videos. Me and my wife are several years older that you, living in Toronto, and already downsized are living to a condo with a nice south looking terrace and we love it. and enjoy life visiting children and grandkids and close family members. However not happy to spend the cold winter here. For the last six years we are renting a beach condo at Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for two months mid January to mid March and we are loving it. However it becomes more and more expensive and hard to get the locations we like. knowing you lived in different places in Mexico, we would greatly appreciate giving us some contact names and info and places you lived so we explore those options. For us still Mexico is ideal as it is a short travel and good weather in winter months. thanks, Brant 🙏

Hi Klee, It’s actually global and every where we go it’s the same story. Canada is a beautiful country. However, Canada is so in debt and this should be concerning for every Canadian. The taxes are out of control and this why business and the wealth are leaving Canada - it’s a quiet exit. Canada’s healthcare is a disaster. I chose not to stick around waiting to have medical care. Our GDP/ capita should be ringing alarm bells to everyone. I agree when it comes to politicians- I don’t think any politician can fix this anytime soon. @@jillpemberton1434 agree about our national debt and our healthcare system. I paid into our healthcare system all my life, now at age 64 it is not at all what it was, so my plan for my wife and I is to get all our healthcare in Thailand, we can afford to just pay for services as we need them, dental is 1/6 or less of the prices in Canada, a colonoscopy is $800 at the best hospital. We will die with money in our bank account, so we plan to spend most of our funds. Thank God for OAS and CPP, $26,000 a year for my wife and I combined, we have 2 million in an investment portfolio, we will never run out of money. ALL this because I was born in Canada, I am very grateful. Also aware things can be much better in Canada, letting drug addicts take over our major cities is a terrible shame, even in Penticton it is bad, but not as bad as Victoria, it is like a 3rd world country in Vancouver and Viktoria. But I still love Canada!!

We love Canada too. My parents immigrated to Canada as it was the land of opportunity. Randy and I both worked hard, saved and invested. We left Canada now to protect our assets. Canada the once land of opportunity is not that country anymore. My two sons both can’t afford a house, probably won’t have kids because they can’t afford kids. If young people want to buy home - they will spend a life time never being able to pay off. Canadians are paying huge taxes and what do you get? Healthcare that people can’t access, no doctors and huge wait times. When I was working people were breaking into my work place and police told me they were not sure when they could get there 🙈- and told to wait because Victoria Police was too busy around the tent areas That was the last straw for me.

I've been threatened by immigrants just because I was not wearing a head scarf. I'll take Mexico any day! Why pigeon hole yourself into one place and we get to experience 3 months in the UK - then a few months in Europe etc. Life is exciting again. Becoming a non resident of Canada has been huge in tax savings - you are ahead of the game with dual citizenship. We have a video coming up on the platform we use for booking accommodation …98% of our stays are free. We could actually spend a year in the UK and live freely as there is so much availability, actually world wide.

Hi there. Thanks for watching your videos and taking the time to respond. We recently did a video on all the different tax implications of giving up your Canadian residency I am going to attach a link for you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lfDzgOqTMFo.htmlsi=Mb9JnWhKIMCuYJxJ As far as how much tax on Cpp And OAS If you live outside Canada and are not considered a Canadian resident for income tax purposes, we withhold a non-resident tax from your monthly Old Age Security payments. The tax rate is 25% unless reduced or exempted by a tax treaty between Canada and your country of residence.

Yeah the UK is much cheaper than Canada! We really noticed it in the groceries. We really like the country side and we are getting use to the bloody roads! I really like Scotland - we are in Troon and it’s even cheaper than England. I agree the UK is great for a base and so easy to travel warm destinations. All our accommodations are free and it’s a great way to what it’s like to live in a certain area. My parents were from the UK - so I could get a passport - I’m not sure who to talk to. Any suggestions ?

@@jillpemberton1434 hi Jill . great idea to do the house sitting .. you get a great idea of each place . its smart to take your time to find a base if you want one in the future . not easy , nowhere is perfect . we have agonised for years on this . the roads are funny .. Wales is just the same . tiny one track ones .. passport ? HMCS i guess is the place to start .

UK is cheap? My sister lives near London and it is more expensive than Canada,, I guess it depends on where you live, New Brunswick is very cheap compared to Penticton where I live, location dependant

Hey There☺️Thanks so much for watching. I was thinking about the next few videos. We are in Scotland for the next few weeks. It’s a place that’s great to stay but man the weather sucks sometimes. The wind!!! Randy’s buddy has come over to play golf with him in Scotland- for a lot guys make this a bucket list of things to do. The pubs are fun and you can even find NFL football🤣 I think it’s so easy to live somewhere for a few months at time and then move on. We would definitely come back to Scotland but stay in the highlands- then a few months in Ireland but in the warm months! We head to Italy in October then Australia 🇦🇺..

Amazing response. What an adventure! My Wife has been to the UK and Continental Europe, I have not. It is on my list. Both my Wife and I are looking forward to a ‘sundress only’ (her, obviously) and a ‘no trousers, no socks’ semi-permanent home abroad… more tropical climate. Panama tops the list, whilst Portugal/Spain are creeping up. Thanks again for the response. Cheers… to both of you!
