Hello Boice it’s Max It was an absolute pleasure meeting you at origami USA. I am your biggest fan and I love your content so much you inspired me to Expand and do so much with origami And I would never thought to actually meet you. I hope to talk with you more And get to know you better in the future.❤😁
Another question fella, Ive made the Jo nakoshima dragon (v2 to be exact) a few times now, but its build with two side and they just spred apart at the end. I use origami paper and have no Idea how to fix this because I already crease pretty hard
@@OrigamiByBoice I thought thats not really allowed (like cutting the paper into shapes(not squares)), but okey And which glue is good, like paper glue or
Hi, have you heard of the origami folder Chen-xiao origami? he also makes amazing origamis like the bunny girl and some genshin origamis. Now that you have made Sam, ill fold it and ill also fold Chen xiaos firefly so I will have a pair now!(btw a content creator whose one of his favourite hsr characters are Robin besides Kafka his name is Tectone)
Hi Wong, I really love your models and I've been attempt to fold 1 of your models, it's "sword and shield". I've been struggling in shaping for few day now, hope you can make a tutorial about it. Thanks

Me too! I’ve finished the base. Now all I need is the shaping, I’m a little bit confused on how to do the shoes and how the sword and shield is made out of the base.
Question, how think is the origami paper used for these amazing pieces? I do have Origami paper, but I feel like other have even thinner ones. Also, making a figure this big and with so many layers makes me ask how frickin thin the paper is supposed to be.
Good question! Some are thicker than you might imagine, but they are large and compressible so when you wet fold it, the layers can compress together. Types of paper like this are generally handmade or fibrous like mulberry papers, cabbage paper, etc. so anywhere from 25-40gsm You can read more about papers on my blog: www.obb.design/paper-resources
Hi boice, you’re videos are amazing but I’d like to recommend it if you were able to show all of your models on your crease pattern page with the image of what it looks like after youve folded the cp as it would help a lot figuring out the shaping even though you’ve done it for a few of your models. Thank you
Hi, unfortunately I do not have photos of all my models not shaped so I can't add them. Many crease patterns show the flat folded form next to the crease pattern and all of them have the finished shaped model. Honestly, I also want people to try on their own first to figure out shaping because it is a better learning method as well as adds personal style. It is better if people do not 100% copy me so that they can make it unique :)
