This was absolutely fascinating to me! I have made so many pretty covered notebooks over the years, but it was always covering over the existing notebook covers. It never would have crossed my mind to totally disassemble the notebook all the way down to the cardboard in pieces and pop out the binder ring spine like that. You WIN the internet for me today!! And I have saved this so I can watch this again and create my own notebook from scratch!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!
So much to compliment here, but when you removed the binder, then replaced using brads, BRILLIANT! I love a woman who uses tools and engineers to create! Your beautiful designs are also well crafted and well explained.

I couldn't find a 7" binder, but I love listening to your videos - so clear with the instructions (plus I love your voice). I'll make one of your mini albums instead and keep this in mind if I can find a small binder at a dollar store.
I just love how you teach these tutorials. You just explain so simply. I never have any questions. Only you would think of deconstructions a dollar tree binder. They turned out great.

Excellent tutorial! I got in trouble with my binder makeover and couldn't figure out how to reattach my binder clips. Your tutorial saved my project. I like the idea of giving them the initial support they need with the white card stock first before decorating them. Nice and secure. Thank you Christy!
I love this, I have so many left over binders from my kids and now I can use them. I would incorporate Tyvek where the bend is to reinforce the beautiful paper. Thank you for your tutorial. Love it
Tyvek would definitely be a good choice since fibers hold it together. I bought some sheets of adhesive Tyvek sheets on Amazon that would be perfect for this project.
