These are the most expensive trucks I have seen in 2023 and overpriced trucks have stopped selling. Ford, RAM, GM, Chevy and Toyota are raising prices. Over the past year I've been to dealerships all over the country and seen first hand how crazy these truck prices are. In my last video I talk about how the truck market just collapsed and in my opinion.. these high prices led to this disaster. So in this video I'm going to show you some of the most expensive trucks I've seen in 2023.
Watch these next:

Thank you for the walk through on PRICING 😊 "Outrageous" will say from what I have seen. The working mans truck with a Diesel, saddest thing is $10 thousand dollar add on to price. I think that is because in my Humble opinion the R&D on the NEW transmission, adding gears (10 speed) remember the transmission was not strong enough to work with all that tork. But yes for a working mans pickup 🛻 the add on of 10 thousand is hard to justify.

Even toyota is building cheaper trucks and charging the same insane prices. I asked a Toyota dealership a week ago to knock off 7K or else I’m walking. They laughed and they said “No way! You are crazy?” Yesterday, that same dealership called me and knocked off 5K. I still said it’s still not enough off because of taxes, high interest rates, and high MSRP. If everyone holds out, we will all get a good deal on cars and trucks. Stay strong everyone. DO NOT BUY until prices come down 15K to 20K.

Let’s be honest, it’s not the CEOs who are clowns, it’s the individuals paying for these prices who are the true clowns. I purchased a brand new Ram 1500 on the last day of 2011 and paid 37k for it fully loaded. The truck was a Sport, 4 wheel drive, show room floor truck with dealer add ons like a leveling kit, Nitto Off-road tires and pocket fender flares. When I get intercepted walking the dealer lots looking at these new outrageous prices I tell this story and they all claim those prices are a thing of the past. Which I’m sure they are but 100k for a truck is ridiculous, supply and demand along with Covid is no longer and excuse but I’m sure manufacturers lost a great deal of money they are trying to recoup and are simply being overzealous with these prices. Seems like greed to me but as long as you have idiots willing to pay 8 years to own a truck this won’t stop.

We've been buying late 90's garage queens and running them with great success. People wonder how we do other things. We say; Easy, no car or truck payments. Also no huge monthly insurance bills. It's been mind boggling for us to watch people dump loads of money into depreciating liabilities. We've also seen a pseudo big shot get his repo'ed. If you own a business and need them to work, I would still buy used in this climate.

Same, I actually bought an electric scooter for a $1000 a few months back. My commute to work is only 4 miles and I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonota with 200k miles (paid off for years) that I use for errands that require a car. I’m sure people laugh at me for riding a scooter, but It allows me to travel several times a year and save roughly 70% of my income. If I had a high car payment, high insurance, and high maintenance cost my finances would be tense.

Bro nitrogen filled tires isnt an add on its a scam to expose how stupid and easily robbable you are. The atmosphere is like 80% nitrogen already. Its simply pressurized air like any other tire. That 20% of oxygen and everything else the machine takes out is 110% pointless unless youre going like 260+ miles an hour. A cbr1000rr at 186mph doesnt need nitrogen machine to fill its tires its pointless scam. They are simply pressuring your tire with air. Which is mostly nitrogen. They make it look fancy sith a machine rather than a cheap craftsman compressor so you wont question paying extra. Remember stealerships are scam artists first and foremost. They get rich at your expense. We go lay bricks do brain surgury and they sit on their ass and wait for you to bring the money to get their raises.

For comparison. My 1996 F250 Crew Cab Diesel truck XLT trim with power everything was just shy of $29,000 new off the lot. That calculates to about $55,000 in today’s dollars only accounting for inflation. That same spec of truck today would be about $90,000. So almost double what it “should” be, however; I think about labor costs, engineering costs, transport costs, material costs on and on. My 96 Ford was basically the same truck they released in 1981 as part of the F series refresh, aside from the front clip and dash. so it was a 15 year old platform at that time. Not defending the cost of new trucks, and I do believe they are out of sight, but just the end cost doesn’t tell the whole story.

My friend is a general contractor and had to replace his truck during the chip shortage. He got a GMC Denali that was (gasp) over 100K. Now, it is a nice truck and it has all sorts of cool electronic bells and whistles, but when push comes to shove... it is a pickup truck. Normally, I would be thinking about replacing my car around now, but hell no. There has to be reasonably priced vehicles available. When my daughter needed to buy her first car she had saved up quite a bit and wanted a new car. This was also around 18 months ago. Honda stopped sales of the Fit in the US, Hyundai didn't know when they were going to get an Accent, and we wound up at the Kia dealership which could get her a car. However, we had to pay an up charge as well as a bogus "lifelong warranty" fee (and they also wanted to sell her an additional warranty contract). The salesperson was slimy (multiple "talk to the manager, "etc.). We negotiated the best we could and she bought the car. I have no complaints about the Kia, but I will never use that dealership or recommend it to anyone. In fact, I would think twice about going to any Kia dealership because of my experience. They went for blood. They took a potential return customer and converted them into a one time sale. Cars often sell on sizzle, but that can only go so far. An average person simply can't afford a 100K car or even a 75K car.

I’ve bought every model of Ford including the Mustang 2, Bronco, Thunderbird, Taurus and my 2015 F150 (2015) all new. This year I bought my daughter a Honda Accord and a Toyota Corolla for myself. At those prices, Ford clearly couldn’t give a crap about the customer sooo…. Goodbye forever. Edit: year of the F150

The dealers have to pay interest on all the trucks they order from the manufacturers. Then they add all this aftermarket shit, make the sticker 100 plus and it rots on the lot. So the dealer gets the shaft, I LOVE IT.

I'll never pay that much for a truck. I would be afraid of taking it to the feed store, nursery, home improvement store, or even camping. If I dent or scratch my current truck, its not a big deal. If I spend $100k+ for a truck, I'd be paranoid. Not worth it.

You can still buy houses for $100,000. The auto makers no longer make single cab trucks with manual locks and windows, no base options. Nobody wants to pay $100,000 plus for a truck. Id rather have the house!

Because they're fools and they believe what they're telling themselves. The economy is in the toilet and personal credit card debt is over $1 trillion. The reality is there's a hard reset coming and the manufacturers and dealers are going to run back to uncle sugar for another bailout--at our expense when it comes in 2024. The problem this time is uncle sugar is $32 trillion in debt and is facing trillions more in treasury interest payments due to the higher rates imposed by the federal reserve which is no more federal than FedEx and there's no reserve...

The big three bail out. I think it was in the 2010s. The government bailed out the big three from their little crisis. I’m guessing there was a condition in there about going all electric at some point (which I’ve seen and heard they are gearing up for) so they’re probably trying to use up material or factory machines capacity to get whatever money they can before the switch. Also Covid had a hand in the supply chain shortage.

I bought a 2017 Silverado LTZ, Loaded 4 Wheel drive for around $40,000. Now has 113000 miles and only major repair was trans had to be replaced at 103000 miles. Serviced regularly, knew the trans would go bad because of its history. Still pretty good truck for the money. Now 6 years later that truck would be $80000, I can t believe people would be so stupid to pay these prices. I say let them go broke, just hope the government doesn’t bail them out.
