Great video Some creative criticism, I would install the foot pegs back by the rear tire so you can tuck your legs back and be more stable with comfortable seating positions for all size riders " Ike " will fit better and feel better. 👌

Raking the front end will give straight-line stability at the speed you're trying for and it would also lower the front of the bike. Balancing the wheels, especially the front, would be a real good decision. An unbalanced front wheel could put you into a tank slapper (high speed wheel wobble) which usually ends in a crash.

Without the front windscreen setup, she almost. Well does take more of a bobber style of setup, which is actually pretty sweet look on her. Maybe there's y'all ideal for something down the road. As far as the layout for the pegs for your feet. The rear extension idea, even if it has to go past the furthest point of the frame as it is now. Is actually more arrow dynamic, but even more important than that, it actually and truly makes it far more safer for the rider.. By being hunched over the top of your knees in the position it's configured in now, as big as Ike is especially a problem. Because in this setup with him tucked in upon his own legs, and the length of his knee to foot size. He doesn't have mobility to catch himself if he should get the bike upset that it starts wobbling side to side making it necessary for him to raise his upper body high enough, or quick enough to get his legs our to give him some much needed stability, by possibly sliding his feet out to the sides to get the bike balanced again. Plus prone let's you relax your whole body, reduces the effort to get your eyes level and focused on the road ahead. My thoughts on this, as I'm sure others will agree, but others will have different opinions equally as well, but ultimately it comes down to whatever y'all build is how it will be.

That is one sweet machine. Would like to see rear pegs, but ok. The Café shild far forward is good. The seat lower. And the rear axle extendo was sorely needed. Looking forward to more. C'mon, cannibalize the old Bonni Bike. It already has so much aerodynamics n stuff.. MUCH better use now on this project. It is really 2.0 of the same project.

@GoPowerSports needs to MAKE this stretched frame a production Frame, bc it looks awesome and way more comfortable a ride than the original does. The stretched back half gives it a chopper/bomber look and I love it!! If they made this frame I'd buy one from them today.

That bike is cool as heck, it's got oldskool chopper vibes for sure. I reckon you guys should put a nice old peanut style tank and short chrome rear fender on it, some flames wouldn't hurt either!

Love the power to weight ratio objectives. I would begin with quality dragster tires and build around that myself. Some brand new rubber tires will disingrate at high speed.

OMG that frame is so cool.... I want one so I can make it electric and very overpowered. 😮❤❤ Edit: There's a guy on RU-vid called Black66 and he does a "stretch" of these frames where he moves the dropouts to the back of the frame and makes it a little longer... I think it was a 6 inch gain and all he did was move the mounts back. It looks so good and it definitely helps for a bigger rider... Like Ike. 😉😁

John, Ike, and Charles all I can say is Kudos Man!!!! You are 100% going in the right direction. Shorter bike, sit up riding position, telescopic front end, and going long and low. Salt is very bumpy and all that weight real high like the old Bonneville bike was just asking for trouble. If you miss Bonneville there is always the ohio mile, that is held at a closed airport. Keep up the hard work and awesome content.

I found my self chuckling at the thought of one of my top 5 RU-vid channels that I started watching years ago is called "Cars and Cameras" where with the help of their sponsor Go Powersports, they build crazy contraptions like land speed mini bikes by taking a brand new frame out of a box, hacking it to pieces, expertly fabricate all new pieces, create an all-new custom build, work well together (John's smiles are the best because they always remind me of why we are all here), have fun, then video and edit all of that for our entertainment! What a world we live in! Thank you. P.S. I do sometimes find myself missing the unauthorized road tests and angry neighbors at John's parents.

Would be cool to see you each go head to head and build cyclecarts and then put them them through some challenges

I'm excited to see the land speed bike and the three of yall hitting the Salt. I've been watching for years and I can wait for better weather. Yall got this, and perfect conditions happen when mother nature says so.

6:00 you'll need a helmet that allows the rider to comfortably line the curve of the helmet up with the curve of the faring. That would help keep airflow attached, and reduce drag. You could even experiment with surface finishes like golfball dimples or real trip flow designs to keep airflow attached for longer. That idea (if it isnt covered later, because of course I pause the video to leave a comment and then end up leaving like 15 comments because I think I'm a know it all) could be worth more than 2mph top speed gains.
