YES!! I do book classes and I had a mom suggest another book class. It’s my best class.

@@TeacherKellyTag I had my entire summer schedule online and ready to go and then wanted to change a few things and it took FOREVER to cancel some spots and replace with others. I'll share my summer schedule in an upcoming video too! :)

I teach classes about space exploration and how to one day work in the space industry.

I am going to finish and get my teachers certificate for High School, in accounting and finance. Then guaranteed a job when finished at the District in now.

But decided after speaking with District and principal of the HS, HS mathematics and industrial Arts. The accounting and finance my one BA and work history cover those. I am looking forward to finishing these Region 20 classes and taking the test and passing just for the certifications. There is a snag is that we may be currently selling our house to move into a retirement apartment. As a possibility, the next thing I am retired from military and a corporate job. Enjoyed just doing substitute teaching 2 days a week and the one day special class on Thursdays until the pandemic hit. I look forward to my future and certificate in teaching high school. If I take that job my social security and Medicare stops as I’ll make more than legally can. I just did not tell them this in the interrogation the other day. One other thing is retired was to be relaxing not another full time job. So much to consider over the next few months. Wish me luck on passing the three test. In June or July I’ll be done with certifying, a 13 month program hampered by a year of pandemic and quarantine. Have a great day...

When you change your price for 48 hrs. is this for one-time or ongoing? Do you notify your ongoing students or are they just charged less for that week, if the discount falls on a Sunday? I have not really been advertising on Facebook, because I rarely use it and don't want to fill my personal feed with ads!;) I am seeing a bit of a drop in enrollments (Spring Break?) but have good numbers usually. Still there are classes that could use a bump and I wonder if this discount works well as a hook for ongoing classes. Thanks for all you do, Kristen, and the the TPT ad at then end looks great!

Hi Kelly - I typically do this for one-time classes so others who are enrolled are not effected by the temporary change. I'd recommend just trying it out with a few classes and see if it helps get a few more learners :)

When I had all my March Madness videos pre-recoded by Feb 28th - I spent the month just designing a few resources OR taking some I had designed for my staff and making them TPT ready. PS: This video was inspired by our zoom chat this past weekend! :)

When you do a 48 hour discount, do you alert parents somehow or just change the class price?

Hi Lindsay, I change the price, share it on Facebook posts if there are ones asking for upcoming classes, and let it ride out. There are filters parents use to see "classes that start soon" and that's where they will see the price of the class. :)
