@im pussy? I just ordered a $25 knock-off with Bones Reds. I'm concerned that one day, why I'm swooshing through campus with my laptop in my backpack, the thing's gonna snap under my feet and kill me. Is yours strong enough to hold about 140lbs worth of weight? Also, what other mods do you recommend? This is my first cruiser.
CheekyGoose i weigh like 180 maybe changing the bushings would be a good idea? my old boards been fine ever since, i think i only ever needed to clean the bearings also hope you have fun riding that cruiser
Bruh I ordered this board all black on eBay! They didn’t have the color I wanted (white) so they refunded me 6 bucks so it only cost me like 9 bucks and it is the same box. Thanks for your review!!!
I got this $20 penny board at this church event, and I'm trying to fix it. So i've cleaned out the bearings and put some lubricant into the bearings, but with one push it only goes about 7 ft, and I don't feel like getting bearings, any advice
Totally agree with the cost thing bro. I actually just was at toys r us shopping for my daughters bday and found that they carry like 6 different models of cheap penny boards from 20-40. They all rode surprisingly great and the $40 one blew me away, it was a little longer and slightly wider like a nickel board really good feeling trucks and great bushings. I cruised it in the store for a half hr while my wife finished shopping and am definitely going back. It was the krytponics torpedo and if you can find one try it. I know *gasp* kryptonics...lol but it's seriously nothing like the others.
I'm 250 lbs. So no way in hell was I going to risk buying a 20 dollar board and have it snap under my weight. But I agree, those board should be a great gift for a light person or a kid.
Got one of these a couple weeks ago, been cruising around my town and I love it, it's cheap and not a quality product but it does the job, making transportation easier and more fun, this week I spent hours outside and felt like I exercised more than the whole last year
First the way you put that board on the ground, then the pebble or whatever it was that went under your wheel.. I laughed way to hard at this. Very informative video too !
hahahahaha that’s def satisfying and I’ve never tried any of the penny products before so I don’t have an opinion or thought about it 😅 I just love your videos
I got a D-Street Pennyboard for 50€ from a skateshop in Austria and I have had it since like 2014/15. It is pretty decent, been cruising with it, fallen over many times while learning but it is still in good shape.
I have one of those super cheap mini cruisers, it landed on my house from a friends who can't skate, but the bushing are so aweful that it barely turn, did you test any cheap decent bushing on aliexpress or amazon? Is the perfect fix for having an extra board for friends, my bushing experience is always swaping from old boards and I'm running out :) Great channel, I like to see how you are building your style and format.
mcpe turtial als je geluk hebt kun je een hele goedkope kopen bij de Action XD, maar ja verwacht er niet veel van want het kost 10 euro ofzo, Marja beter dan 100 euro
I got a Ridge Big Brother, wich is basically a copy of the 27" Nickelboard. Ridge is a british company and you can find many boards from them on amazon, got mine for 20€. It is for sure not refined and precise as a real penny nickel but it is what got me into skateboarding! I always liked the idea but never found the courage to buy one, because spending even just 60€ to discover that I dont like it was not a good idea! But thanks to the cheap price I bought it, learned how to cruise around and actually discovered that I love skating! And now I bought a real skateboard and Im trying to learn my first tricks!!! Keep pushing great content man! Would you do a video with some suggestions on how to overcome the fear while learning the first tricks? And to try them in public lol
I have a penny nickel board, and I absolutely love it! Then last year, I found a Hurley brand board at TJ Maxx that's the original penny size. I put the penny wheels and bearings in it, and it skates just as good as the penny does!
I got mine for $24. I couldn't afford an expensive board but im thankful that i still got one. I don't have it yet. I ordered it today and hopefully it will be a good board!
Hear me out, i seriously mean this you are my favourite RU-vidr you've inspired me to keep on skating. I also really like the way you edit, anyway have a nice day and greeting from Belgium!!
Where did you got this? Amazon? on my city those are REALLY expensive, and they are not real Penny/Nickel board, they are from different company, Cremé, good but expensive
I had a Penny and a Banana board. Banana is the best of all in every request. Penny is more slippery on its surface due to structure and being formed convex. Banana is concave and has raised little rings and cylinders which provide a better grip. Trucks are better, bearings and especially the wheels, too. Wheels are offset and very smooth due to this and they go way better over bumps. Quality of material and shape of the deck is much more better, but Bananas are difficult to get. I recommend them highly.
I bought a €25 nickel board on amazon, swapped out the bearings for some Reds, or you can just pry them open with a knife and clean out all the hard grease if you're broke af. It's my favorite board. I'm gonna buy a used Penny nickel because I'm curious about the difference.
I bought one 3 years ago on ebay for 13€ with free shipping... Can't find them anymore for that price on ebay. Anyways, I rode it a lot arround a pool-like skatepark, no jumps though, it was nice for 2 week then a bearing broke and I ordered some 4€ bearings wich have hung in there for the past 3 years, so 17€ in total pretty nice deals, I also skated pavements and poor condition asphalt I don't know how it's still fine xD pretty nice deal
I bought one in mexico to try it out and i thought something would break but no it turned out pretty nice to ride around with, cost just about 20 bucks.
I have one and I didn't know it was am off brand until 7 years later, I still love it, it was my first board. Edit: It has an engraved turtle lmao i forgot Edit 2: It also has super tight trucks, to turn I have to lift up the back instead of just leaning side to side
I got a very similar board, also made in China no-name knockoff, for 7 eur ( on sale, down from 20 eur original price). Impulse purchase, just to see if I could ride such a small board. And guess what...the wheels are surprisingly soft and good, not different in any way from my OJ SuperJuices that I paid 40 eur for....The bearings are fine, I put some Indys in but there wasn’t much reason to do that. The bushings...meh..not so good - too hard, but maybe it’s done on purpose to give beginners more stability. Anyway, it’s a very fine board and I’ve used it to skate around the city without any issues at al. Skateboard companies push stuff that’s way overpriced imho. It’s mostly clever marketing.
With the more expensive skateboard brands you pay for options. If you want something simple you can go cheap. Pick one of 6 colors. If you want your choice of Colors motives glow in the dark then shapes drop through drop hammer footwell double footwell concave etc. you pay somewhat more.
