Actually just purchased this kit, primarily to go thru the kit and add and/or subtract components! It’s a hobby more than anything, but when I finish the changes and upgrades, I will gift the kit to a family member or friend. Great review man! Thanks!
Those survival bracelet fire steels are actually decent if you use the edge of that striker and not the beveled side. I removed the Paracord part and added the survival buckle to the loophole that goes to the water bottle holder. Requires stitch removal and restitching but it makes a good key holder thing.
Premade kits available in in stores are always a joke might he ok for a kid playing in the woods but when it comes to a real survival kit its always best to just source your own gear and put it together yourself even if you have to just get a piece at time to fit your budget plus its more fun too over the years ive aquired so much gear when i get bored i throw a kit together for fun
