After open house on Friday, I found myself with a bit of free time and took the invite from Jimmy Dale to go to the legendary Shadyside dragstrip. They were having a 50,000 to win small tire race called King of the South. Saw some friends and met some new ones. I love going to big races at small tracks. Shadyside is awesome.

grass roots drag racing? Some of these cars extremely expensive and the best in the country at what they do which is being the fastest on 28" down a sketchy 1/8miles drag strip. Give them some respect! Also, most these guys have 0 interest in NHRA.

Didn't realize Clay was in Mooresville! I'm about 15 mins away. Been to Shadyside a bunch of times. One of my favorite 1/8th mile tracks in the Carolinas!

Nice to see a small track doing well, however, they are one lawsuit away from being shut down, letting so many people stand in the burnout lanes, in the path of a car burning out. One car screws up and there are many hurt people. Besides that, looks like a good time. Have a great day.

Something is happening to RU-vid, most of the videos have a flashing "Download" icon, the red bar has gone right to the end as though it has already been seen and no sound. Darn it, ben like that for a couple of hours now. The reels seem to work OK though. A syste restart does not work, its RU-vid NOT the user ! UK time 27 05 20244 at 14.31 Hrs.
