I have an na-t sc300 and if your turbo is too big, you have to go Coil on plug. It'll free up space for a big turbo. Otherwise, you can go with a 4runner dizzy that might help.

Evan you need a Toyota 4 runner distributor cap which is flatter if you want the intake to fit. Turbo needs clocking too (8 o'clock). Last resort is distributor delete with 7m gte supra cps(cam position sensor), 2jz gte oil pump with crank position sensor or coil on plug conversion which might lead to standalone ecu.

To Solve the distributor issue you can convert to a 7mgte setup with a cam sensor and ignition setup to start and once that's complete you can switch the ignition system to the Is300 setup for a cleaner look

You need a forerunner dizzy cap on a NA-T to get. Ore clearance on big turbo setups. Was on my buddies setup. Tricky part is getting the firing order lol. But that’s how you’ll be able to get an intake on.

Alot of guys I know that have ran the xspower manifold have modified it by cutting of the t4 flange and welding it back on so that the turbo clears the distributor. Also look into lowering the compression with a TT head gasket or something so atleast a survives for a little bit lol

Make sure to delete the distributor! Swap to coil packs you won’t regret it Also, get a front facing intake manifold! Makes it way easier to rout the intercooler

The GE Non-VVTI (the one evan has in his supra) is known to handle over 600hp stock block. You would just need and standalone ecu to make everything work. The stock ecu can't be tuned

It was probably meant for a VVTI engine, they dont have a distributor. Then the intake pipe would not hit. While the GE non vvti has the same rods as a GTE the pistons are not as strong, the ring lands on GE's are much weaker. So dont try boosting it to high heaven.

I know its an old video but personal opinion you have the best 2jz engine unless your lucky/rich enough to find a decently priced non vvti gte engine the non vvti ge with an aftermarket turbo kit and replace the distributor for coil packs will be best bang for the best buck

You can buy a side intake on amazon or ebay for 120 to 150$ to fit on the Ge ....i used the aftermarkit one for the Gte and weld the ge runners to the gte intake .... butt the battery needs to go in the trunk

This turbo kit was definitely made for an IS300 then. IS’ don’t have anything blocking that turbo inlet.
