To everyone who got deactivated on doordash don't worry it's not the end of the world and if it feels like it you got some self evaluating to do 😂. Doordash isn't the only way to make money in the gig economy
Very true however spark has waiting list as does instacart which I been on over a year andy rating terrible with Uber so all I get offered it bad runs... Am trying to fight it but won't hold my breath
Yes, people are weird about their children, especially if it's easy to determine where they might live. All it would take is someone to email Spark or Walmart and it doesn't even have to be the actual customer or parent of a child. People can be vindictive. I think it was a viewer who turned Pedro in to DD.
It’s not against the Law! If it’s sexual in nature then it’s against the law. But these platforms are above the constitution and the law apparently ;) 🇺🇸 💪🏻
@@StofleTheBadger It may be legal to film in public (the inside of that private daycare is not public), but that does not mean the Apps, specifically Spark/Walmart allow it. We're not concerned because he'll get arrested for it. We're concerned because we don't want to see him getting deactivated. It wasn't illegal to film inside Starbucks, but that got him deactivated, didn't it? There's a difference between filming in public and filming in public while representing DD, spark, UE, etc.
Yes, right now, the video only has a few views because it was posted a couple of hours ago. So, if I was him, I'd pull it and edit that out and repost it so it's not likely to affect the total number of views very much.
Lets see Chuck. After you left doordash you making more than ever from Wal-Mart, Uber Eats, and RU-vid. That's what im talking about 👊🏾 cheers chuck keep up the work you will most definitely reach to 100K subscribers soon. For now 10k then 50K!
Seriously if people have a problem on getting themselves caught in someone's video recording and their in a public place they should just stay the hell home and never leave the house!!!!
Curious, where was the Roadie pickup? And goodness gracious… all these filming sensitivity comments. Just be careful, BC. You have a lot of eyes on you. This is the world we live in now.
@@BudlongTaco I don't think I ever seen a gigtuber justify recording minors. Idk, cool guy but, RU-vid has turned people into heartless thoughtless robots man morals are out the window
8:10 How does your camera not have any shake? I think every bump in our road is felt by my camera mounted in my car. Does it have IS or is it in a gimble? 9:32, I told you before if the managers see you confirming arrival and you're not there, they will cause trouble.
Walmart does not even have a paper bag option anymore at least around here. As somebody who has served time at Walmart, I really liked how you pulled the back box up and fronted the labels. I do this automatically when shopping because I know how hard retail work is.
I haven`t worked for Doordash in a year. Not deactivated. LEARNED code and graphic design. Couldn`t believe dudes do this full-time. RU-vid money must be good.
I have a friend who has 16k subs and she gets roughly 6590/month from YT. I'd say Chuck needs the delivery apps to support his YT channel... Unless he has other non-related videos I'm unaware of on his channel
another day, another good video, thanks chuck! (yup still watching, F DD) edit to add blur out the kids, parents can be salty about their kids being in a video without permission (for good reason), protect yourself!
@@AlecSideHustles The secret to spark is you only get the good orders if you sit in the parking lot. If you just sit at home or do other gig work hoping for a good spark order it'll never happen! They have an aura around walmart, if you are in that aura you get the best offers.
@@DashingAcrossAmerica I wish people wouldn't generalize! I also think the OP meant Walmart as a company sucks! Not the customers or employees! I hate Walmart myself. I haven't been inside of one in a decade or more. I go out of my way to go to Target because they seem to treat their employees a bit better.
@@DashingAcrossAmerica Ignore all the keyboard lawyers Chuck. They literally have absolutely no clue what they are talking about. A simple Google search would show them that recording kids at school is 100% legal. Some people may have moral issues with it, but my guess would be THEY are the people I'd be keeping my kids away from.
Not in Georgia public schools. Parents are required to sign a release for the entire school year for their child to be photographed on campus. This was a private day-care, and I'd imagine they don't allow someone off the street who isn't a parent or a staff member to come inside and start taking videos of children.
@@GrandmaKaren-p5b You don't need parental permission to post photos and videos of their children provided that the child is publicly visible. However, this was a private day-care and they likely have rules about filming children (anyone) inside of their facility just like Starbucks
Well I just got deactivated I think y'all are right about them cleaning house to let in all the new drivers who will take the crap runs don't get it at all and I was a top dasher who never gave out customers information so no clue why
What reason did they give you? I guess the new tier program isn't encouraging drivers to take crappy orders like they thought it would. It appears that people worked to raise their acceptance rate, but after they did NOT start seeing big dollar offers, they stopped taking the crappy orders. Personally, I find it strange that DD doesn't require dashers to send proof of insurance. All they do is make dashers check a box to say they have insurance. This makes me think they are accepting a lot of new drivers who they'll give good offers for the first 10 days and when they start sending 2-3 dollar orders with the promise to send high dollar orders as long as the new driver takes the crappy, upside down orders
Chuck, i hope you'll consider goving up your vaping You do a good deal of heavy breathing bringing the grocery orders to the doors. I quit smoking using a Juul vape, and now im hooked on those :( and am trying to stop using them. Nicotine addiction is a tough one.
@@DashingAcrossAmerica Good luck with that! If I were you, I'd think about editing the video and cut the interaction of you and the Starbucks manager. It will show remorse and a lesson learned on your part. I think your chances of a reversal are not promising if DD sees you in that video.
The best offer today in my market is $44.38. It has 16 stops, 81 miles and 138 minutes of driving.. pick up at 1:45pm, end at 8:00pm. on a Friday afternoon rush hour traffic through a heavily congested area. The lowest is $4.44 for 3 stops, 26 mins of driving. Who is taking these
He seems like he's a bit deflated since it happened. I think that's only natural, especially since he likes to do a good job and now feels unappreciated for the good job he provided DD on so many orders. It's a tough blow to find out an employer who you did such a great job for over the years is able to boot you without a second thought. It kind of drives home how unappreciative DD is of its drivers. Drivers are just a number to them. A driver with a strong work ethic has to do a good job because they take pride in themselves not because they think DD is noticing and appreciative.
I remember a customer that didnt have a driveway at all and wanted me to walk all the way up to the housewith all the food they ordered ? I cant believe people that dint have a heart for orher when u r trying to deliver rhere food they can at least keave rhete driveway open so we can deliver there food .dont u just hate it when they block the whole drive way up what do u do and they get upset when u have and forced to go into there grass ro unload it but, hey what would rhey like me to do leave it in the street ?
Call them if there’s no answer leave them a message letting them know the situation and that you left the food at the front and maybe remind them to stop being lazy and go do there own grocery shopping
I’ve had spark drivers back up all the way to my front door across my lawn, which I’m worried that it leaves Meagher and I would have to be responsible for damage since I’m renting
@@dmreddragon6 lol so funny I wrote a note about blocking my door. To leave a foot away since my door opens out. 99% of the time they can't comprehend it. Yet I never thought about the lawn lol
Wow, these videos seeyto have gotten quite boring without DoorDash. If I were you Charles I would consult with an attorney if you haven’t already to be sure what you can or can’t do, especially with that creepy looking camera on your hat.
Someone else commented that a friend of his who is an attorney or a judge told him he can film anything in public. While that's 100% accurate, these companies set their own rules. He is also in Georgia, a right to work state, and employers can fire employees for zero cause. It's legal I'm Georgia for an employer to fire someone because they don't like the color of their shirt. Even though drivers are considered independent contractors, these companies can deactivate a driver for any reason as long as it's not discriminatory (ie, sex, religion, ethnicity, etc)
Yeah, I did comment back to a comment about it before I saw it, and it really was a quick flash, and I personally didn’t see the name of the school but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t there. The only person who might be able to pick out one of the kids with my luck. If I were there taping would be the noncustodial parent who is abusive, and can pick out their own Kid real quick and happens to watch the video. Overall, it’s not allowed so just the fact that we’re trying to keep him from losing another gig it’s still the right advice, even though it wasn’t as bad as i pictured when I first read about it.
