How to prevent engine overheating?
Everything is very simple! All that is required is to monitor the cleanliness of the radiator of the cooling system and change the coolant in time, which eventually loses its properties and periodically diagnose the cooling system (operation of the thermostat and sensors). As we can see from the video, the installed grids in the front bumper do not really help from the formation of pollution between the two radiators, so you need to inspect their condition every time you visit the service. Of course, you can check the pollution yourself, you will need a minimum set of tools and an understanding of your actions, but it’s better to contact specialists, because there are many subtleties to different cars.
There is also a strong opinion that radiators can be washed without removing and this will help. Of course it will help for a couple of days :), and there is also the likelihood of damage to the radiator lamellas, they bend and the air no longer circulates as needed. And rinsing inside the “radiator sandwich” is very problematic on most modern cars. For these reasons, the most effective way to clean radiators, only with removal, is to drain the coolant, which is best replaced with this procedure.
We performed all these procedures on the car Hyundai Solaris of our subscriber, at the same time replaced the faulty headlights and dimensions. This car is no longer in danger of overheating due to clogged radiators.
