When I was working in Bhavnagar, with Indian Airlines (1990), this Darbhari-Aloo was my 4th favorite dish next to the No. 1 favorite, "Undhiyo", made in Katyawadi style. I loved to eat mainly in restaurants meant for manual laborers. It had the "Life-Threatening" looks with a huge pool of Red-Oil floating menacingly on top, concealing the Undhiyo buried beneath it. For me, nothing can ever come even third to it in the race. Regards.
Its too good. In our traditional gujarati wedding and all occasions this aloo sabji is mandatory with "vara ni daal". Methi rai jeera tadka is perfact 👌. Sweet tangy and spicy 😋🤤

You can add gur and lemon juice in last. Yes this subzi turn out to be very tasty as we can have it in n Gujarati thali in restaurants very often. Please share some more of Gujarati kathiyawadi subzi available in Gujarati restaurants. One more request the background music is not going well with the video.
