I have become a big fan of Mr.Rangaraj Narashimhan. Very deep knowledge on our Idhihasa. Kiran, please dont vomit your questions from other references. Deeply understand and then question.

Everything about Ramayana will contradict the logics of scientific approach. This is very eloquently explained by Shri DA Joseph in Guru You tube channel. So, interpreting Ramayana through scientific prism is a non starter and will create only confusion. I agree with Mr.Rangarajan Narasimhan in this debate and I commend his efforts in compiling and sharing the views of various Relious Scholars.

Neither of the three great Acharyas have mentioned that Varna is not birth based, but misquoting them people claim as if it's karma based - making me laugh 😄😂 that they neither know or practice the Guna or Karma and coming back with false beliefs, that too tragically in support of sanatana dharma. Gregorian date is devoid of astronomical data. That is why it is unscientific. Our panchangam keeps track of relative angular position between the moon and the sun (thithi or lunar day), between earth and the sun (solar day) against a background of fixed stars. The lunisolar panchangam followed in Tamil Nadu and Kerala does not need leap year adjustment. The length of the sidereal year is 365.25868 according to AryabhaTa (450A.D). Check the modern value as homework

Science is still developing and expanding. The cruel joke is that we are willing to believe science as per our convenience. It is unfortunate. As a matter of fact, faith and belief are domains beyond the scope of science. I believe that Science can never come to an unquestionable conclusion on the dates of Krita (Satyam) yuga. We believe in what our elders say based on our Sampradaya. Period. Secondly, is it essential to conduct research on when Perumal Rama was born? or Should we just follow Perumal Rama's qualities in our daily life?

Namaskaram and pranams to prabhu Rangarajan. Kindly explain on the earth being round. And if the earth is rotating? According to actual measurement by dakila survey company over a huge waterbody, the height of a straight line above the water was consistently same clearly indicating that there is no curvature over the water. Meaning the earth is not a ball. It may be round similar to a round container with a cover making it round. So an "andaa" container floating in the garbha ocean is befitting. Which takes to the next point whereby the earth does not rotate but the sun is revolving around the earth. Please comment

Certain degree of objectivity is required for people to understand Vedas, Puranas and Ramayana. In this age of success being defined as personal achievement of materialistic success, it’s not possible. The effect is that people believe varnashrama is not by birth. Also they feel science is superior to Puranas. Wherever science gets along with shastras science is right, wherever it doesn’t get along the shastras, science is wrong and not the shastras. If a Purana says a parrot spoke, then indeed the parrot spoke. It need not be explained by modern scientific theory saying it must be an allegorical story etc. Puranas don’t claim they recount stories by exaggerating. If rakshasas attacked Surya and a brahman’s arghya pradhana saves Surya bhagavan, then there is 100% truth in it. Just because we cannot fathom how will rakshasas attack Sun, doesn’t mean it is lying or is some allegorical story. In certain places the allegory is clear and many acharyas have explained that the story is allegorical. The numbers like 11000 and 60000 years are not only seen in Ramayana, similar numbers appear in many Puranas. The numbers given by Rishis have to be taken as it is. May be in another 10000 years even science will start agreeing to those numbers when it understands the universe better
