Even you are in America, your advocates/time is appreciated. You represent Thai-medical doctors. you are showing people in Boston that Thailand has great medical school, great doctors. We are proud of you. Thank you for your work!
Cancer is such an ugly word. Life sometimes shows us we cannot control the matter or timing of our death, but we can choose how we approach it. Being so young, his story is an existential wake-up call to many. Me, included. Life is fragile, precious, and unpredictable. Each day is a gift as it is, not a given right. Enjoy happiness in the present moment. Make time for what really matters, let go of what doesn’t. This reminded me yet of another young physician who confronted a similar fate. Once diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, he knew it was the beginning of the end. He left medicine to spend time with his family and write. He detailed his journey in his book, “When Breath Becomes Air.”
