Fans walked out of the exits of Highmark Stadium for the final time this season, after a heart crushing playoff defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs - Sharing their wide ranges of emotions.
If I own the bills, I can all their asses, McDermott, the kicker, all cordinators and equipment staff, then I tell Allen he better step up, no more stupid mustaches.
Yeah, that fake punt in your own territory. Reminds me of when Campbell tried that shit on Thanksgiving! Costed us the game! He hasn't done that shit since thank God! Buffalo out played the Chiefs but those damn lucky ass breaks the Chiefs got. What a shame.
If KC doesn't get fancy 1st and goal from the 3 and give the ball to a guy that shouldn't even be on the team. Chiefs win easily. Also, the idiot who tried to scoop and score on Allen's fumble, FALL ON THE BALL and it's game over.
If the NFL handed out awards for choking when it matters, the Bills would lead the league. Looking forward to seeing how they blow it again next season!
Disrespect the Steelers Towel Again and Watch it Happen Again; Y’all Played Yourselves. The Steelers Terrible Towel Curse Lives On… it’s true! Hahaha Go Steelers!!!!! Steelers Nation already knew y’all F’d Up; y’all should of Respected us; that’s the reason why y’all lost honestly. Don’t believe it; search the Terrible Towel curse.
It is partially his fault because it takes all the pressure off. All they need is a 1st down compared to scoring. I agree with missed opportunities. I mean Allen threw 3 deep balls that were all dimes and they dropped all 3 of them. But Bass needs to hit that FG, it's not like it was a 50+ yarder.
I disagree, it is T. Bass' fault along with a bunch of other people. He had the opportunity to make up for other's poor performance, instead screwed it up himself! BTW, he's been playing badly for the second half of the season, many misses.
@@larry2281it was only 6 yards from being a 50 yarder that’s not an automatic kick. Josh dirted a pass 2 plays before that would’ve been a TD had he thrown it better
It's been said by many over the years, games don't just come down to one play. Bills even caught a couple of breaks, and with that... it still wasn't enough.
Agreed - but sometimes games Do come down to one play. Missing it right? Really? I mean you know the wind is blowing left to right, and you Still miss it right? Hell, overcompensate! Miss it left! Left I can understand. Right? You're fired!
Maybe he forgot what hash he was on? It'd have been good on the left hash, I played it back and the ball placement looked good enough to send the ball end over end, but that ball sure hooked more and more as it neared the posts. Officiating as usual gets a C- at best for both sides of the ball. @@gregrichards1601
For what it's worth, and I don't know if this is helpful BUT, the Chiefs felt this way from roughly 1970 until 2020. The Broncos felt that way for their entire existence until the late-late 90s. The Bengals, Lions, Browns and so many others can truly relate.
Not blaming but at this level you just cannot miss that in a playoff game. A kicker’s job is different and anything less than 50 should be expected to be scored. The difference between the two teams ultimately was the kicker. If Bills had the Kansas kicker and vice versa, Bills may have won that
If you’re blaming Bass for that I have a bridge to sell you. That was on Josh Allen when on 2nd and 9 with 1:50 remaining he tried to score a TD passing up on a WIDE OPEN Stefon Diggs that would have had a first down easily while milking more clock. Only an idiot or a paid off clown would want so score with THAT much time left on the clock against someone who has beaten you with 13 seconds on the clock🤷🏻♂️
So what you're saying is as long as someone else screws up and completely jacks their job, I don't have to do mine? The buck has to stop somewhere. Vern makes that kick, you may not be guaranteed to win the game but at least you've done your job. You've given your teammates hope and now the pressure is on KC in a very hostile environment. Now you have momentum. Easier for you to win than KC. Miss the kick and you're just another jerkweed who can't do his job and KC has a very short path to winning. They have all the momentum and you're going to feel the weight of a whole state of fans because you didn't do the one thing they depend on you to do. The game wasn't just lost with that one play but yeah, it Was lost with that one play.
Alright buddy, you find it glorious ok, but what about your pathetic team? I can't stand patriots and I'm so glad that the only time they made playoffs in the last 4 years, it was Buffalo that slapped them around, Brady was the reason the Pats won in New England, it sure wasn't the coaches, McDaniels, Patricia and the countless other bozos are laughing stocks, the game has past Bill Belichick
@andrewmcgraw253 at least patriots fans know what it feels like to win it all 6x no less Bills fans have nothing but participation trophies total losers 😂
It was NOT just the field goal there were more missed plays that were bad. The Blame is not the Kicker, this just shows most fans have No Clue about the game or plays.. you can't fix stupid.❤❤❤
@@bryangonzalez4604 I don't understand in individual sports like sprinting and swimming especially in the Olympics finishing 2nd is something to celebrate but finishing 2nd in NFL isn't? Doesn't make sense. When Simone Biles wins Silver she is happy, but if an NFL team loses the Super Bowl and finishes 2nd they are disappointed and sad.
As a Browns fan I can say the only other team that has more heartbreaking playoff losses is the Bills. So close, so many times. From Norwood to Mahomes' Chiefs, I feel for Bills fans. For us it was Elway and the Broncos, choking away those three AFC championship games to them in the late 80s, not to mention Red Right-88 in 1981. There is nothing worse than losing close games deep into the playoffs to the same team, three times in four years.
I don't really see the analogy. Time and time again, the Bills get _so_ close but fall short, usually due to some bad luck showing up at a bad time. The Cowboys on the other hand got embarrassingly exposed.
Not trying to defend Dak but the Cowboys defense let up 48 points so you have to put some of the blame there. And ironically the Bills defense played pretty sloppy too
You're damn right. I remember when the Chiefs drafted Todd Blackledge and how bad they were until Marty came along. I think we hadn't won a playoff game for over 20 years before Andy Reid and Alex Smith came to town.
Im a Cowboys fan and the feeling is super similar for us honestly. We have a super talented team, get to the playoffs, lose in the first or second round.. at least they are consistent.
Us Bills fans know most of you guys from other fan bases would like to see the Bills win one day and it’s much appreciated❤️ unfortunately it’s not the time yet. Here in western New York the community eats, sleeps and breathes the Bills tomorrow will be a tough day to get through thanks for the love🤜🏼🤛🏼
I guess most of the fans didn't hear how they said the wind was a factor for both kickers and realized that the bills got the ball first which met the chiefs had the wind to their back 2nd half while it was to their kickers face for that last kick...
I guess Coach Sean forgot that his kicker missed 2 FGs the previous week. I guess Coach Sean was so happy to settle for a long game-TYING FG that he forgot to run down the clock so that KC wouldn't have 90-plus seconds & 2 time-outs. PLUS their kicker would have the FREAKING WIND BEHIND HIS BACK for the game-WINNING FG!!
Media: "Chiefs are regressing and the league is catching up with them" Mahomes: "Hold my rings" Josh Allen: "Hold my half decade worth of divisional championship swag."
hold his two rings? LMAO When your team gets 6 and when Kermit has 7 rings then you can speak. Finally win a superbowl after 40+ years and you act like your team is the greatest. Too funny. Go put on your Jovan Belcher jersey and shutup already
@@seakc87 haha, this is our 6th consecutive AFC Championship, I’m sure we know by now what a playoff is? We also know what a Super Bowl is, how about 3. What about you? Haven’t been to one yet with Allen have you? Nope. We stop you every time. Put my pecker in ur mouth
Yeh I am a Giants fan whenever I feel bad about my team I think of all of you. I watched my team win 4 superbowls and go to 5. Many of you will never win one.
I have been a Rams fan since 75 but was rooting for the Bills. I am surprised the head coach is not getting any blame.. lot of talent for this team to lose in this round every year.
@@rawleigh729 dude its been 7 years and nothing , the lions are in the NFC championship and the Bengals made it to a Superbowl McDermott is the modern day schotenheimer ......... Don't celebrate mediocrity
Listening to the crowd SO reminded me of Arrowhead! Good people! I feel for them. Can you imagine how much it would hurt to make it to 4 consecutive Superbowls and not win even one? I'd rather have a 50 year drought!
@@gregrichards1601 it would make me ill that's for sure. I know they're hurting so I'm not gonna gloat. Doesn't go well for anyone when you do. Besides that they really did give a fight. Was tit for tat and I have no fingernails left to prove it lol. Good job Bills.
@yvonne8786 - there was a lot of...I wish we'd done this or that on both sides. I agree it was a really good game. Could've gone either way. I'm glad we won but the Bills have nothing to be ashamed of. They had a lot of guys out and still almost won. It was nice to see our guys didn't get flustered by the very intimidating crowd. We've got to tackle better, tho. I thought the Bills played a tough game. Hope we play Lions in SB!
@@gregrichards1601 I watch the RU-vid channel titled How bout those chiefs. It's really good. The guy that runs it does play by play every game. He doesn't show the game but I love his commentary. They have live chats a couple days a week also. Everyone in there is pretty regular during the week and they are all really nice and welcoming. Check it out if you get a chance. You would probably really enjoy it.
As soon as Bass lined up I said “he’s gonna miss the kick”. He had been booking them to the right all night, but previously he was kicking from the left hash so they were making it inside the post. This time from the right hash I knew he was in trouble.
I know I said it too...he's gonna miss it watch and sure nuff. It's all rigged. If the Chiefs make it to the Superbowl I'm convinced 100%...it's building up with the stupid Taylor Swift sideshow crap and they got Fatman
They are stuck with Bass, how do move forward with him remembering this epic choke? I also knew it was going to hook right I just had a feeling and when it happened I started screaming.
After being a life Long bills fan, I'm happy to say that I'm no longer in the loser mafia. The process is over. They can never get it done and never will.
Get used to it folks, fans, I’ve been feeling this way since 1991 when they lost the first Super Bowl to the New York Giants, by 1 point 19to 20, it sucks, but you’ll get numb to it,
Pats' fan here. I feel sorry for the Bills' fans. Adam Vinatieri made huge pressure kicks in horrendous conditions. Draft is so important in building a roster of winners.. you have to draft players that just know how to win football games.. it is just that simple.
There was a day when Marty coached the Chiefs it was a rule to leave their helmets on the entire time they are on the field.... because like BILLS FANS, Raider fans would throw D-Cell batteries, probably because it doesn't snow in Oakland when they were there. Point of the story, the Bill's fans deserve to wallow in their tears as the mafia turned into school kids getting mad on the playground 🤣 😳 😂 😂😂😂😂😂
ehhh did it really come down to the kick??? SURE he coulda made it.. but then... tie game.. left a ton of time on the clock for kc with timeouts... who knows what woulda happened... and really the game was over with that bonehead fake punt they were just insanely lucky to have kc fumble on the 1 yard line out of the endzone/touchback to even keep them in the game.
So tired of this franchise always blowing it, losing in such dramatic yet predictable ways. Well there's always next season, or the season after that, or that following season, etc., etc......
As a Bill's fan in my 60s I lived though the 4 straight SB loses Always felt for Jim Kelly and was hoping this year for him More so than me. But the future is bright so hang in their.
No don’t u dare blame bass. Sure the guy coulda made the kick but the chiefs gave y’all every opportunity to win the game and yet again the offense chokes the game. This man had diggs on a drag route and gets to aggressive. Just take what the defense is giving you bro and get a quick first down.
It wouldn't of mattered anyway if he made the field goal. Chiefs still had 2 t.o. left and 1.43. They would have just went down In field goal range at 55 yards and butker would have won the game.
Hey, KC fan here. Tell you what, I feel HORRIBLE how that game ended for you after another amazing regular season. You might not believe it, but I think Bills fans are some of the best in the NFL. I've had a soft spot for you since the Kelly/Levy era and I could almost cry with you when that kick missed like that. I'm glad KC won, but I wish it was against someone else. God bless Buffalo. Hang in there. Stay warm. See you next season. ❤
Travis Kelce said on his podcast that the wind gusts not only were real but also differed depending on location. Bass' kick looked like it got caught up in one of those wind gusts. On a calm day that kick might have sailed right through.
LOL...most of the Bills fans i saw in the comments on various channels all week were talking trash and saying it was gonna be a blowout ha ha..at the end of game the fans were throwing snow at Mahomes...of all people...he was smiling and laughing like a kid lol...its hilarious !!!!
Ever heard of Nick wright? All he did was talk about how the chiefs would have a blowout all week. And as for the snowballs the vast majority of fans didn’t throw them
I feel empty, dissappointed, demoralized, disheartened, hopeless, helpless, depressed, aimless, heartbroken, crushed and miserable. I blame the kicker, the conservative coaching staff, and Allen for choking. The world is over. We are all doomed.
Welcome to the club. You were going to feel this at some point because the Ravens were about to obliterated your defense, which can't stop a nosebleed.
As a kc resident, chiefs fan and homebuilder we would be happy to help you with your relocation needs so you don't have to go through this again. Our kc hearts go out to Buffalo for your losses 😔
As a kc resident i say please dont come here. The way they acted towards our players during and after throwing snow and ice. I dont want that type of person for a neighbor.
@@k86_we’re not all bad, but seems like that’s what the nfl thinks. Most fans are respectful, but a few idiots ruin it for people. It is what it is I guess
Man, I feel for the Bills Fans. I was hoping for a Bills Lions Super Bowl. After years of our Eagles losing in the playoffs, we know exactly how you feel and it sucks.
I was rooting for the guy made the field goal so we could possibly have overtime this was an unbelievable performance by both teams I feel your pain buffalo fans I was pulling for ya. 💔
Even if he made that field goal the game was never going to OT since their was 1:43 left in the game , so we all know that Mahomes and the Chiefs would of easily gone down and either kicked the winning field go with a great kicker(Butker) or might of scored a touchdown with that much time left 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks, I was so sick of Buffalo losing, even though I live in eastern NY, I was glad to see John Elway and the Broncos get 2 rings, I hope before I’m dead, the Bills will get one🤔, I’ll keep waiting, ?..
Aw come on now. I'm a reasonably successful adult with a wide range of interests. Intellectually, I know it's "just a game" and I can't control it and it's all silly, but it still stinks when the team you like loses...even if your team is often successful. But on some primal level, it's hard-wired into our brains from millions of years of evolution. It's OK to feel let down. Doesn't mean people are losers or only like one thing.
As a Bengals fan, I know your pain Bills. I was there cheering for the Bills because my dad is a Bills fan. I SCREAMED AND SCREAMED for Buffalo, but it wasn’t enough. There’s always next season.
I feel bad for the Bills fans and I'm a Steelers fan.....such great fans...after all the snow and all the fans shoveling too....I remember the wide right back in the 90's to lose the Super Bowl...another wide right.....so sad
oh you mean all the snowballs they threw at patrick mahomes and the other players? or the actual trash they chucked at their heads? ya real stand up and great fans
@@selaxlife7621 ya they are literal gutter trash lol. I take great pride in being the team that keeps them from the super bowl. Little brats always need a spanking, and the chiefs dynasty is happy to give it
That was a great season? I thought it sucked just like kid's season. I didn't know if the Bills were going to make the playoffs? KC made it only because their division was awful most of the year. We didn't have anybody who could catch a damn ball. Even Kelce struggled. And our fg kicker missed every4th xtra pt. Thankfully he was solid on long kicks. I thought both our seasons were pretty crappy!
Thank you Bills for a wonderful season. It didn't turn out the way I wanted, but it was still a fun ride. I'm super glad you guys didn't quit fighting when you were 6-6. Lots of folks said you guys wouldn't make the playoffs and wrote you off. Instead you hung in there the best you could. Its tough going 0-3 against KC in the playoffs. Anyway, they were the better team. Hope you guys enjoy your off-season reflecting and getting better. Most importantly spend time with family and enjoy life. God put us here for His purpose. My prayer is that you let Him guide and lead you. He will never fail you.
Cursed with great fans and a great team. Lots of fun always. Yep, 70 years old have seen it all for 60 years and have never denied that our city, team and fans are true❤❤❤❤❤
I feel ya Bills Mafia. For a long time I watched the Chiefs lose games like this. One memorable game was against the Colts when Lin Elliot missed THREE FG's!!! I sat through that one at Arrowhead and you could feel the devastation.
I remember when Joe Montana got a concussion. And Jim Kelly and the Bills rolled into another Superbowl. John Elway beating us in the playoffs. I personally thought I'd never see the Chiefs win a Superbowl... Fast forward to 6 years of Mahomes. Good times
Still have my Montana and Thomas cards in a plaque from walmart they were selling for 5.99 back then... I think they've skyrocketed in value to 5.99 now
