Leaving a little 7yo girl in the movies is so irresponsible. Seriously he and his partner couldn't have endured watching a kids movie with the child for a few hours? Disgusting. Seems that he was prioritising his gf over the safety of his child. If i was his gf i would have insisted on being with the child. The child could have been abducted or abused etc. I wouldn't even send a 7yo to a public toilet for a few mins on their own.

@5:30 I have waited to have kids because I am scared to have a child with an idiot, like this sweet woman did. Sadly, this happens to really great women. She should get full custody. This is how children are abducted. Remember Madeleine McCann? Her parents left her in the apartment to sleep while they went out to dinner for 2 hours. They came back and she was gone! I believe the other kids said a man came through the window and took her.

My dad left me and my two older sisters in the apartment alone for hours when I was a kid to go see his girlfriend and what did I get out of it? TRAUMA. My sister tried to throw me over the balcony. 2nd Caller is a tough one. It's like you don't want to do anything because of the relationship between father & daughter; plus the daughter had a good time. However it's an error that can't be ignored. Anything could have happened: kidnapping, molestation, shooting... Hell, why is his girlfriend even there during daddy/daughter time? Dad doesn't understand the severity, thinking everybody supposed to watch his kid, but him. It's unfortunate... and if mom needs to report, he can't be angry because he brought it on himself. It also makes me wonder if daughter was left alone at his home because he's so comfortable leaving a 7 yr. old alone in a theater.

I once fell asleep on the subway in my late teens n woke to a man touching my leg.I had to think quickly about the safest way to react as I was at the window seat.a theatre is dark n sex ed doesn’t even begin until abt 10.The child could hold a secret because of confusion or not wanting her dad to be in trouble with mom.immature idiots always have the same reaction tht the child is fine with it but it’s the parents job to use their higher awareness n experience to guide child n keep their experiences age appropriate..smh…also sometimes the person u end up raising ur kids with is soooo far from the person who love bombed u at first and u have to just do ur best to manage the consequence .It can be shocking n difficult.

I use to go to the movies and other places with my nine year old brother in the 80s. We got robbed and all kinds of shit but back out there we went. I wouldn't do that with my kids. We all try to do better only to realize we are only healing our stuff through them but we are not seeing them as them and what they going through thus generation of curses. I thought this was normal 👀I don’t see anything wrong with telling the child to come to his theatre after the movie is over. Especially if the child is comfortable with it. In New York there is no minimum age to leave a child home alone, it’s up to the parent to determine the maturity of the child. Not all 7yr olds are the same. Also, it’s not like the father left the building, he was just in another room, and movie theaters usually have security and cameras.
